I still wonder how many business opportunities they let slip when they let emotion get in the way. I assume that this is purely for the cameras.
Or if the dragons indirectly contact them afterwards maybe?I also understand that even when the "deal is done" there's still a long way to go!

I don't remember hearing how much the eco stuff ( made in China) cost per unit of weight...did anyone else? I'd have thought that rock salt was considerably cheaper.
I can't see the eco stuff being economically viable.
I think she said it was twice the price of rock-salt.I can't see the eco stuff being economically viable.

All it will take is one suggestion that it's actually not environmentally friendly and that house of cards will crumble away.I can't see the eco stuff being economically viable.
And when she said that a single large airport could use 500 thousand tons of rock salt in a single winter, really? I know they must use a bit, but 500 thousand tons is an incredible amount of material. I wonder if the Dragons are ever allowed to ask for a source for some of the wild claims that get flung around the den. While I can understand it would just get cut in editing, as it would be boring to watch, if I had a Yorkshire pensioner in front of me claiming that rock salt was about to become a thing of the past, I'd be fairly cautious of any claims she was making.
alumnium and salt is bad so a quick google -

''any type of true salt is prohibited for use anywhere on the airfield as it can corrode aluminum (the skin of most aircraft). Airports use a variety of other products to combat ice build-up and ice formation on airport surfaces:
urea is a solid ice metler and often mixed with heated sand
heated sand that meets particulate (grain) size requirements by the FAA
potasium acetate is a liquid anti-icer
sodium formate
glycol
others
if you visit the FAA.gov website and look through the Avisory Circulars (in the 150 series) winter weather and snow removal documents , they list all the "rules" airports must abide by...''
phase 1 - collect urea
phase 2 - sell to airport
phase 3 - priofit
