I'm guessing topping off party means something entirely different in tonight's episode.

Couldn't imagine spending all that money and not stretching the budget that bit further for some seriously nice fixtures and fittings.

Thinks he's financed because a property is under offer.

God loves an optimist.
I thought the same. Chickens and eggs a little...

£4000 bath!?

Nice to see he has his finances sorted with priority purchases.
Sure but you can bet he's going to be looking at a 2m property at the end of it so no point scrimping on fixtures and fittings?!?!
He needed to make it habitable to get the mortgage to finish it, so put a cheaper one in to start with and spend the money where it's essential to get the mortgage. Then with a mortgage secured do it properly.

Those sliding windows are awesome and nuts all in one! Awesome house (B&B to pay off friend and mortgage) but overall value 5mil no problem!

This is one where, impressed as I am by the project, I just wouldn't want to live there.
It's just *too* big. The building is amazing but it's too tall and narrow (1 room per floor) to live in.

Amazing project, love the end result. That view is pretty special.

It's not somewhere I'd want to live, but I'm amazed by the fact such an ambitious one got done in 9 months, and it really is stunning.

Nothing but admiration for that - a fantastic build, well managed, planned, designed and built. Liked the guy, impressed by all that he brought to it and very, very jealous of that view.

Well deserved 100th episode.

He just more or less said that about leaving his mobile in the kitchen!
