I'd love to know the costs and value.

Yep. It's gotta be worth at least twice that.

Yep, my favourite one yet. Even the people on it weren't complete dicks like they are most weeks....

Amazing project, love the end result. That view is pretty special.

It's not somewhere I'd want to live, but I'm amazed by the fact such an ambitious one got done in 9 months, and it really is stunning.
Totally agree - very impressive.

Wow.

What a place and surely always worth big money.

I'm still not convinced by the "living box" structure though, I think it slightly ruins the exterior.

Practicalities I get but if you're going to live in a tower then embrace it properly and don't build a lean-to to live in.

Absolutely stunning! Especially liked the finished/cleaned up brickwork on the tower.
Hard to imagine how so much work was completed in so little time - mind, throwing lots of money at it helped I'd imagine. biggrin

Wouldn't be surprised to see it on the market within the year though.

Stunning build and so was the damian hurst on the wall.

Not sure about the space planning though, they'll spend most of their time on the 2nd & 3rd floors of the cube.

Love it. I really thought it would be a salutary lesson in financial disasters. I take it all back.

Why don't they show you a bit more about the build on GD.

Like how they get the central heating system and hot and cold water up that high in a residential property?

There must be some huge boiler and water pump running that.

Kevin got it spot on about wanting to live in the smoke.

Unlike a lot of TV these days that really was a great hour of TV viewing pleasure, in fact I reckon they could have made a longer episode for this one.

Massive hats off to the chap for everything from commitment, vision and big cahooners through to the final execution. End result was a real credit to all involved and to do it in such a timeframe is mind boggling.

What a true GRAND DESIGN for the 100th episode (topped by not having to endure any Eco drivel being thrown in either)

clap

The 6 man bath is going to be like tearing up 20s every time you use it.

Fabulous room though.

Yep looks like a mental bird who knows more than the builders she hired to do a job.
