Try again.....Dave, Dee, Dozey, Beaky, Mick & Titch!
That lot good together. I've penned a short science fiction novella set in space, the clever bit being that it takes place a long time ago (fking genius or what). Anyway, it's kinda a good v evil thing with robots and wizards. Oh, and I've chucked in a princess who needs rescuing as well. I have in my minds eye an idea on who will play the main characters - pure coincidence that this lot appear to fit the bill - although I was going to go for that short one out of Game of Thrones to play one of the robots. I can't believe they've resurrected the old cast for this! The part of me who loved the original movies is jumping up and down like a giddy schoolboy but then then my cynical side thinks "they are too old for this sh*t". I mean think about Harrison Ford's performance in the last Indiana Jones film and you can see how this has the potential to go terribly wrong. I guess we'll just have to wait and see...

The Expanded Universe has a rich backstory for what happens to Luke, Leia, Han, etc. Luke sets up a Jedi Academy and Leia & Han marry and have kids who go off on their own adventures. If they have any sense then this is the sort of role that the old cast will fulfil in the new film. I very much doubt that they will be central to the action. Halb said:
Indy 4 was st because it was st (so was st Leboef), Harrison wasn't st.
Sorry I have to disagree, his acting was still great but he definitely seemed to be struggling visibly with a lot of the action stuff IMO. In fact there were points where I was wincing in sympathetic pain as he tried gamely to do the physical bits and it was all a bit sad that they felt compelled to put him through the wringer for a 4th outing. I just hope they leave the older actors with some of their dignity intact and relegate them to the "wise old sage" roles rather than trying to get them to do all the leaping around.
Mind you I had the same sense of discomfort with Peter Cushing and Ian Mcdiarmid in the NT. Sorry to all the wiser PH'ers on this thread (I am getting there too) but I just don't think old folks look cool or very convincing when fighting.

Sure, I don't want him jumping about, even if he is genetically gifted. But I just meant his acting.I just hope they leave the older actors with some of their dignity intact and relegate them to the "wise old sage" roles rather than trying to get them to do all the leaping around.

And do you mean Chris Lee? I also hated that.....though I rather liked Ian doing it.
