Iron Resurrection is the other one that doesn't do the deadline rubbish, I thought the Bullet episode was pretty decent.

Sweet, thanks for that, will give it a whirl after the GP.

It's not Fast n Loud, in fact it's only resemblance to it is that it's about cars, but I've really been enjoying Chasing Classic Cars.
Neither is Fast n Loud now Aaron’s gone. Plus they’ve got that shouty bearded tt, Russell, from Richards other show Garage rehab who I really can’t stand, involved in it for the new series...

But yes Wayne Carini is always a good watch, none of this fake jeopardy crap from the other shows

I enjoyed the Bullitt episode but he REALLY does grate, he's contributing an absolute net zero to the show other than to massively irritate. Can't imagine for one second why he's on there unless he's bankrolling something and it was a condition RR had to agree to?

He always seems to pay more than he wanted to when buying at auctions, and gets less than he hoped for when selling. But, yes, it is very watchable.

Yes, you do wonder how he’s so successful when you look at some of the deals he does, and also manages to keep what he pays for any featured cars a big secret. hehe I also like Roger, his old mechanic, proper old style engineer.

Hmm, does make you wonder. My chin was becoming a bit itchy at the pickup having a crash on a shake down drive though, that’s the second time they’ve done that, remember the Mustang?

Overall Bullitt was a good episode, although if I heard Chad McQueen say “my dad” one my time I think my head may have exploded. Not a problem when you’re a 5yr old but when you’re 58 it comes across as a bit pathetic.

I've tried watching that programme several times but have always given up as he comes across as a smug tt.

I got bored of the garage resurrection programme after the first season - when was Fast and Loud last on TV before this new season?

I enjoyed the Bullit episode too, but got really irritated at the inevitable "we've only got 30 days to get this car".
It just makes Chad look incompetent, which I'm sure wasn't the plan.

"Great, we've got the filmmakers booked, managed to close some of SF's streets - all good! Oh st, what about the car?" Idiotic.

About 14 months ago, which is a long time for Fn'L.

They were making 3 or even 4 series a year from 2012, but it's slowed right off in recent years, and it's probably not too harsh to say of the series they've made, quite a few episodes have been 'filler'.

For me it's long peaked, but it's still watchable, like Wheeler Dealers really.

There's much better stuff on YT if you just want to see spannering on interesting cars without all the drama etc.

I'm genuinely scratching my head as to how you arrive at that conclusion, but fair enough if the show isn't your cup of tea.

Nope I get it too, I find him incredibly irritating.

Me again.
My Sky planner is saying "New: Fast n Loud" at 9pm tonight on Discovery, but it's saying it's S6, Ep3, so not sure.

That's the one I mentioned in my last post when I resurrected the thread recently, but the anomaly is that the Bullitt episode was S6, E19 - hence the confusion with the episode number of the 'new' series (which is showing it's S6 Ep3)...

I’ve given up with trying to work out the episode numbers, they don’t seem to show them in the same order they go in the states. Diesel brothers is exactly the same, the last series of that was completely mixed up episode number wise.

I can't believe anyone still watches Fast & Loud confused Surely it's about ten years past its sell-by date! Aren't there enough soap operas on TV already?

Personally, if I spend my valuable time watching a car programme, I want to see cars. I couldn't care two stuffs how many T-shirts or Burgers Rawlings flogs, nor how meany celeb endorsements he can drag in irked

Despite it only being made for 7 years, you might still be right...

I see it this way, forgetting for a moment we have things like Sky+ and 24/7 stream when you like TV.

Tonight on TV at 9pm you have the following choices:

BBC1 Who do you think you are with Jack Whitehall and his Dad, which actually could be good.
Something about conjoined twins on BBC2
Some human interest bile with Davina on ITV
Ch4 has got 24 Hours in Police Custody! But sadly it's a repeat.
Ch5 whatever poorly made, tabloid style 'documentary' they've excreted this week.
ITV2 and 3 are showing Family Guy for the 25th time and an old Doc Martin repeat.
E4 has got 'Celeb's go dating' I haven't seen the line-up, but I'd bet it's a lot of 'why are the famous?' people being completely shallow for drama.

After that you're well into Dave (a QI or Topgear from 5+ years ago would be my bet), the slightly more obscure CH5 USA and ITV7s of the world as a quick stop before you're wondering what's on Gold (year round Xmas TV).

The same goes for Wheeler Dealers and a few others, you know it's not going to be as good as it was, you know it's going to be a poorly acted drama, but worst case it'll wash over you whilst you drink / stare at your phone, or it might be a good one.

Irritating is not the same as smug though.
For me he comes across as a genuine lover of classic cars, has empathy for the clients he works for....often when they're selling off their family heirlooms after a death....and there's no bullst involved.
He also seems to be well liked and respected by everyone he comes into contact with.....and don't forget he also does a lot for charity, especially autism because of his daughter.

On the other hand RR is just a loudmouth product of reality tv

Just binged watched all the seasons and believe im up-to-date now on NowTV, it was kinda better with Aaron in but cant believe they dont use Jason, the Mustang guru to do a Pebble Beach Mustang given he had an entrance there when Richard 1st went. Given that Jason can build some st hot quality cars, they seem to make him look abit simple on the show.

Also, where did the big dude with the tattoos go as one minute he is there, the next hes gone (probably doesnt help binge watching when all seasons blur into one).

PLus the continuity seems shocking on NowTV, one minute they are selling the Hot Wheels truck to the collector, few shows later its still in the showroom. Same with some of the other cars.

Though i do love some of the customs they do and would love to be able to do something (or pay someone in my case) to do some sort of crazy swap, but the costs just dont seem correct. The hellscout is being offered as a competition prize but unfortunately only open to American citizens,
