b) What exactly was in the coffin that Fox was sitting next to on the plane? Leo would've been in about 5000 tiny pieces being so close to a bomb of that size.
The same's true of many soldiers coming back from Afghanistan, but it's considered insensitive to send them home in a jiffy bag...

Judging by the comments I won't bother with the final story, this has been a poor series. It's in desperate need of a shake-up.

I think it's more in need of everyone involved going away and doing something different. Appalling programme.

This really is the most dreadful programme. And she's a bit of a moaning, winey, skinny bird who probably reads the Guardian. Does nothing for me I'm afraid.
This, annoying factor was through the roof, was kind of hoping one of the security detail was going to bump her off for being so irritating.

Leo had turned into the grim reaper himself, most of the people/his friends he came into contact with seemed to come a cropper over the last couple of series. Reading the scripts must have become utterly depressing due to them being pants.

Would be a sad end for a once good show if it was binned. Although BBC announcer said back next year.....blimey!!

I did wonder what kind of idiot would stand there, in the middle of Afghanistan, and accuse the small band of people who held her safekeeping in their hands, of all kinds of stuff. At least wait until you get home, silly cow.

Strange how 'matey' can identify a partial print on a button, but neglects to think of fingerprinting the prisoners. Would have saved a lot of time and showed some initiative.

The gratuitous 'face-folded-back' scenes are getting too gruesome.

Whiney blond bint is too mouthy by half, and scrawny with it.

Could do much, much better with a smaller budget and some better stories.

Nice having the police angle - the pathologists are doing less police work so it feels less like "CSI M25" smile

Has there ever been an episode of Silent Witness were the police officers involved weren't complete dicks?

Good story but just dreadful acting. It was embarrassingly bad.

I prefer this in 2 hours over 2 nights to Broadchurch even if the production values are lower.

I enjoyed it but the consecutive nights thing never works for me. And the pathologists do seem to be getting much more involved with the cases than I (who know nothing of these procedures other than what I read in books or see on the TV) would have expected.

And, was it just me, but when the head pathologist went to see his ex-wife and daughter living with their new bloke, he mentioned the dodgy tail-light on new-blokes Saab before the car had been switched on. How did he know there was anything wrong with it?

Well this was a bit stupid. 4 dead, 5 dead, 6 dead and the police presence seems to be minimal. They would have heli's everywhere and how hard can it be to find a mid 90's blue Volvo saloon on the M25 with the amount of cameras that road has.

Beat me to it.

Pathologist goes with copper to tell future husband of GF's death ??????. I don't think so......researchers/consultants must have been the first cost cutting
