I rather enjoyed that Bedford Dormobile episode but don't think the red cabinets suited it especially when they painted it in the blue colour. That chap Derek?? looked to have some interesting motors in his shed. Noticed a GTO. I like Elvis as he explains everything very well and doesn't play up to the camera like Ant did but saying that I did like some of the work that Ant did.
Quite cool, wouldn’t want one though. Naturally we’re told that Elvis’s F1 experience helped him shoehorn the Pinto in hehe

That pinto engine fitting perfectly was a suspicious find.

Looks like the USA gamble paid off for Ant anyway, he's now dating Renee Zellweger.

She’s 10 years older than him. He won’t last long once she finds a sugar daddy

I suspect she is minted enough to not need a sugar daddy?

Isn't she bit too old to be looking out for a sugar daddy? I thought they were the target of a much younger woman.

Yeah, I wondered that, maybe it’s a well known update amongst CA circles especially with that gear linkage fitting so well.

The Dormobile episode was OK but the excessive Colin references were annoying. Very.

I also thought the cabinet colour choice was odd. I liked the original colour but the respray was really nice.

Counting Cars showed the chrome paint a couple of seasons ago and went into quite some detail on it.
But the problem with that was that you would have needed to watch Counting Cars in order to learn about it. tongue out

On the subject of chrome, here's an old school WD bodge, on the Triumph Spitfire, surfacing after 12 years. smile

Interesting episode last night. They’d purchased a 997 with bore score. Hartech were involved in the rebuild.

Agreed. I’d have gone for less gold on the car.

Car not mot’d since 2015 so must have trailered it to silverstone

Maybe car to be used for racing? Or put on private plate?

Don’t think decals and wheels sold the car though, the engine rebuild by people who knew what they are doing and being rebuilt by an ex F1 mechanic (again) would be a big selling point.

From the beginning of the programme, I didn't think that £10K off retail was much of a trade deal for a car that needed an engine rebuild that would probably cost at least £10K.

Of course, you can pay far too much if you have a pet former F1 mechanic whose supposed mates allow him to use their workshops, knowledge, and multi-thousand £ CNC equipment for free... well, in return for free advertising.

What a wheeler dealer! smile
