Can someone answer a question in regards to last weeks Porsche, Elvis said SC was Super Carrera but I knew it as Sport Carrera, is he correct.
Porsche say...

"In MY 1978, the 911 model range was reduced to two models. The 911 SC (Super Carrera) took the place of the 911 and Carrera models.
As of MY 1984, the SC version was again replaced by the 911 Carrera".

Well the official Porsche website says it's Super, so it's hard to argue with that:

Well the allegro was different! Thought they had fitted new discs and pads but not mentioned in tally.

Think I have seen the dash dipping process before, maybe WD? Not sure.

At least he wasn’t greedy with price, maybe that is just what they are worth?

Looked like just a big waterslide transfer to me.

Didn’t they do a Lizard skin type dip on some alloys wheels way back when Edd was still on the show? May have been an RX-7?

Also, did anyone else spot the lack of pinstriping on the N/S rear wing when it was back from being painted, yet it was there when it was being sold? Wonder why they didn’t put it on in the paint shop, assuming it’s just a sticker, rather than custom?

Mike did it with the interior of a Range Rover. It was a hideous blue and black Range Rover, and they had to get rid of all the blue. S10e3

I think Car SOS did a "woodgrain" hydro dip dash recently as well

That's right. Snakeskin, in a nasty orange/black combo?

I see the Aggro never actually passed an MOT. Wonder if they had trade plates hidden on their little drive around??? Does seem a tad bizarre that they go to all that effort and then it fails on mostly stupid things like bulbs and electrical issues.

Yeah Lyle has been on before. They completely ruined that RX-7!! I don't know what they were thinking!

Fair play to them for doing the Allegro. I'm not a fan of them and never will be.

It was a shame that the VDP did not need welding, it could have been improved with a fire.

Has anyone else noticed that whenever Elvis has to remove a wheel it is only held on with one bolt or nut.

Dashboard was awful and yet another car with loads more work done and not accounted for.

Always wanted to watch someone on TV undo 4 nuts or even 5 if we are really lucky on TV.

Would that number plate on the Allegro have been worth some cash?

Good programme, second Maserati WD has done, thought it might be same faults as first car but it was different.

Interesting about sticky buttons and laser printing was very good, surprised this was not done on first Maserati he did.

Interesting seeing Elvis, if he did do the work, repairing the valve block as previously said with expensive watch on while he repairs the suspension too. Maybe watch has negotiated repeat fees!

Did not bother to watch the test drive, friend has one of these and it could leave my CL500 with only 300BHP standing.

Why do people obsess over what presenters are wearing? Is it some sort of envy? I use two companies for work on my cars. One does wear trainers but both wear very clean overalls. One has an Apple Watch and last time I was at his garage he showed it to me. As long as they’re good at their job I couldn’t care less what designer wear clothing they have. Their money, their choice.

The point was more that mechanics don't risk high value watches if they are doing the work themselves rather than just presenting.
