Depends on what level you care.

You should care that children are being insidiously brainwashed with a particular ideology.

It isn't the BBC's job to decide what is and isn't socially acceptable, or what social values should be.

It has overstepped the mark, repeatedly, from reflecting society, to moulding society.
You have serious mental issues.

He probably thinks the Doctor was born in Kenya as well.

I don't mind that - he's quite a good actor.

There's no skirting around it - that's distressing.

Similar feelings to when Catherine Tate was cast, and she got into the role well enough. Same with Matt Lucas.

This series is going to come down to the writing, the writing and nothing but the writing. It's not who the companion is, it's how they relate to the Doctor and the journey they go on.

After being worried that Chibnall oversaw a couple of quite dodgy DW epsiodes, I've only just realised he 'ran' series 1 and 2 of Torchwood, which I remember as being quite good. I'm still very optimistic that the writers room approach will mark a big step up for DW after Capaldi had to deal with such variable scripts.

It feels more like someone really hates it, they can't directly cancel it so they'll fk about with the casting until it withers and dies.

Then they'll burn it and piss on the ashes just to make sure.

Nope. I just don't much like Bradley Walsh.

Don't watch Dr Who either to be honest.

Well, he's used to The Chase, and DW is "running down corridors", so he should be right at home...

If the Bradley Walsh thing is true it is all a bit odd.

The show needed shaken up because having an older bloke being helped by a young female assistant wasn't PC.

So, in order the fix that they are going to have a young, female Doctor helped by an older bloke.

WTF?

Because it seems these days in tv the women should mainly have the dominant role, and some people think the decision to cast her had nothing to do with pc. rolleyes

How come the Doctor only ever has humanoid (and mostly human at that) companions? So much for diversity.
