If that waist band got any higher she could use her trousers as a bra.

Shame as she is quite attractive, but I guess they couldn't possibly pander to that kind of sexist, non-pc thinking.

Remember David Tennant's 'new teeth...weird' scene ? I wonder how they'll manage this transition biggrin

Grabs chest "Oh I'm quite muscular...{pauses}" realises voice is higher. Turns away from the camera, looks down trousers... "oh!" then some comment about not being ginger.

If having a woman in a role is your definition of PC, good luck to you.

I'd like to know on what grounds having a woman in the role is "PC"

And how you know it's ruined if you haven't seen it.

I will be watching and I am looking forward to it, as far as introducing a female doctor goes I see no issue with it and I feel like this is one of the T.V / Film icons that could really work with either gender given the doctors personality and traits.

Colin Baker

Back in the mid 80's Dr Who went downhill rapidly with his taking the role over. There is more to it than that but it was a definite low point. The show is declining now rating wise and its glory days since the rebirth seem over.
Colin Baker had a "whacky" outfit too.

They'll have to build a gender-neutral ramp for the Tardis, with multi-lingual signs.

Definitely my least favourite Doctor but, to be fair, I’d have been happy enough if the stories were good. Which they weren’t. Much the same applies to Sylvester McCoy.

I'd agree - both were let down by some abysmal writing frown

Strange, I thought he was the last good Dr.
Peter Davison being when I stopped watching.

Colin Baker wanted to have a nastier darker Doctor, that was the original plan, but the BBC blinked and fluffed it. Colin originally wanted the outfit that Chris Eccleston turned up on but they made Him wear the crap he ended up in. Hence the falling out and the first time the doc didn't 'hand over.'
