Don't worry there's plenty of other rubbish to watch instead!

Off topic,

Last Friday I saw him play Macbeth with the RSC at the Barbican. The whole cast were outstanding and he was a revelation.

An outstanding production.
Surely you mean ‘the Scottish play’ sir.

Well, as 'Macbeth" was printed on the posters, fliers, programmes and spoken many times by the cast, I thought I'd get away with it. hehe

I think the new Doctor is just fine. In fact, that doesn't seem to be an issue for anyone much. It's the overt political agenda that's getting everyone's backs up.

Daleks? She'll try to reason with them, maybe invite them to some talking sessions and anger management classes.

It was all going so well.

Scary Dalek/ octopus thing than then the copper HAS to make a point of showing that he is gay.
It was a totally unnecessary comment and in no way added to or was relevant to the story.

FFS, they just couldn't help themselves.....

Best episode of the series, but so much for not using old monsters!

If he was straight and mentioned his wife nagging him it would have been no different. But yes, you're right, this is just the BBC being the BBC. Straight scenario would never have been scripted because it would have signalled nothing.

I honestly didn't even notice that, I'll take your word for it. Perhaps you need to look at yourself?

I did love the scrapheap dalek though. Very good. And I didn't know which way it was going to go at the end would he let go of the Tardis to save the rest? On balance I think that would have been a better ending but perhaps a little dark for DW.

Not sure where the Anti-SJW League is going to get it's kicks between now and 2020.

New Star Wars again chaps?

Plot line "influenced" by -

Battlestar Galactica - A Cylon warrior lands on earth, attends a fancy dress party and gets its innards fried by a microwave oven while trying to find a high-powered radio transmitter.

Star Trek: First Contact - The Borg attempt to build a transmitter to signal their fleet.

Alien - Blown out of the "goddamn airlock".

This scrapyard Dalek has caused great discussion on the Level 4 board
The debate is about the origins of the Dalek was it a Davros faction or Imperial Dalek, Dalek Was It clearly resembles the new era Dalek but the NEW new era daleks so its thought that its one from the Eccleston era Time War thing
Then there is the ability of the creature inside tgo exist for prolonged periods outside of its casing
The boards gone into meltdown

Who cares? It was a total load of bks from start to finish, just like every episode in what must be the most lamentable series ever to appear on the BBC.

And what about the Scrapyard Challenge Dalek? Where did it get all the electronic parts from? Or the lights? Or the weaponry? Or the explosives?

And was there a single person watching, who wasn't able to predict that he microwave would be cannibalised to get them out of a tight spot, the second it appeared?

And my god there was just too much chat. Every five minutes or so I found myself shouting at the screen, "For fks sake, just get ON with it!"

I couldn't blame him for jumping ship. He'd have to be blind and deaf not to have realised by now what a load of st he's landed himself in.

I think an extra terrestrial trying to phone home was done quite a long time before First Contact biggrin

Oh FFS you've just reminded me of the terrible 2012 film and now I'm going to have to get drunk to forget.
