So, there’s an intergalactic war coming to Earth. Hmmm.
I guess this means they’re planning to dovetail with the next big MCU release?

I've just realised how far behind I am (on US episodes) - I've got 2 to watch and one to download....

Not sure, infinity war is out in a couple of weeks, that seems a shirt time to bring that plot line to the point where it would match...

That episode definitely felt like it was setting up something big though!

ETA: apologies, looks more like 4 weeks, which could fit.

Kree?
The Kree will be essential for the origin of Captain Marvel, but I would not expect them to be introduced on TV.
I was thinking the fallout from Infinity War might affect AoS in a big way, similar to Civil War.
That could well mean the Kree are introduced in Infinity War, and the following episode of AoS would then be free to use them.

Have the Kree not been introduced already?

Ive caught up now but it all seems abit meh really.

Though if Hydra is back, then i guess it'll return to 'normal'
Yup. I'm with you. Seems to have gone ott for the sake of it. Next we'll be having lots of dream sequences which imgo is the first sign a series is losing the plot and is devoid of any new ideas.

Yes, Skrulls. Obviously.
My aging brain is thinking ‘Skrulls’, so when someone types ‘Kree’, it gets its wires crossed.

While I’m here, I’ll say what I think will be the premise of the Captain Marvel movie.
Infinity War parts 1 and 2 will introduce an alien alliance to help defeat Thanos. This will include Kree and Skrulls. Yes, they are old enemies, but Thanos is a threat to the universe. Then it will turn out Skrulls stayed on Earth afterwards disguised as prominent humans, planning to take over the planet .
Carol Danvers will be an airforce pilot caught up in the explosion of a Kree device, leaving her with powers. The Kree offer to help, but it turns out they want to turn a human into a weapon, like with the inhumans. She will get caught up in the Kree/Skrulls conflict, eventually defeating the Skrulls, and telling the Kree to get stuffed.

The Capt Marvel film is set in the 90s (so includes Fury, and hopefully Coulson) so might be setting up the Kree/Skrulls for before IW

I did not know it was in the past. So Captain Marvel has been around since before Tony Stark became Ironman!
I shall go away and think up a whole new story in my head.
(I do my best to avoid knowing actual plot details until I see the film, which requires actively avoiding whole sections of the internet.)

There is a rumour she is in IW, but most likely in IW2. Maybe she appeared, did the skull/kree thing, then went into hiding, or to another planet or something daft and then comes back for Thanos

There's been no mention of her in IW and her film is based in the 80's. And Coulson is confirmed to be in it along with Nick Fury!

Anyone else thinking its getting abit st now?

Take last Saturdays episode; (ad-libbing obviously)
How will we find Coulson (in the Canadian wilderness by just a kiddies picture to go by)?
Best just park it in a massive space to Phil can find us....

Phil in the mean time is being chased by the crazy teenager and just as shes about to fk em up, the team magically appears to save the day

fking seriously, i know that its all fantasy but surely the writers can come up with better ways to figure that out than just magically make them all find each other
