Tbh I think this series has been very poor. I doubt I’ll bother with the next one unless it gets good reviews.

I'm intrigued. What didn't you like about it?

Just about all of it. It’s as though they’re making it up as they go along. I know it’s sci-fi but I think it’s lost its direction from where it started. All the alien theming just seemed out of place to me.

I agree - It did seem to jump from spot to spot, but I thought they had set that precedent through Ghost Rider et al which seemed to work.

It did tie back in nicely - Although I did think that the link back to the original Gravitonium scientists was a bit of a stretch.

And let's not try to work out the time travel stuff as that makes my head hurt.....

I didn’t realise that had been confirmed. It’s good that they know in advance so they can write a proper ending.

I’m a bit surprised anyone who has stuck with it this far would be disappointed by season 5. And very surprised anyone would object to how the storyline lead to the rise of Graviton. For me it felt like the entire season was designed to bring us to that point, not made up as they went along.

But the 'future' timeline had the earth being broken.

Daisy changed that by blasting gavi out into space and therefore the world was saved.

Therefore no need for Enoch to come back from the future to freeze Fitz and steal the gang?!?
Enoch was not from the future - he was 30,000 years old already IIRC?

Anyway - re season 6. It hasn't been confirmed as the final season, but apparently it will only be 13 episodes long.

Clark Gregg is not in the main cast, as Phil Coulson. However, the character will be seen in "Captain Marvel" which comes out next year, but is set in 1990s so he is still alive at that time, pre-dating Hulk, Iron Man etc etc. But he might appear in the next series in flashbacks etc, he just won't be the lead.
Jeff Ward IS in the main cast - so somehow Deke has survived all of this.

Would be super awesome to see Agent May in Captain Marvel, they've worked together for a long time.

Coulson and May have worked together for years in the comics and have said as much in AOS too.

Just caught up and really enjoyed this season. Would actually be quite happy if they left it there.

After my earlier misgivings about the current series I thought the last episode was excellent so hopefully that will translate into the final series. However as said elsewhere it would’ve been perfectly ok to end the complete series there and then as it was that good

Yes, however I don't believe May is going to be in Captain Marvel. Don't forget that in the 1990s (when Captain Marvel is set) she was busy being Deb in ER wink

I'm still mulling over that May was that girl's "mum". Is that still the case? I forget....

Not her mum, no, the mum was Polly. But in the "future" timeline, May had helped raise her after the death of Polly in Chicago. With the timeline change, that is no longer the case

Yeh, I meant she was an adoptive mum. But if Polly was killed anyway, what happened to the girl?

Robin? She was killed by Zeke's dad's mate wasn't she?
