Agent Coulson returns!
Discussion
Aida really has stolen the show really - The Ghost rider storyline was a good one, but was clearly finite and I'm glad the Russian hasn't had much screentime. The LMD hook and the extension in to the Framework was insipired and Robbie was always due for a return as he vanished pretty quickly.
As an aside - Does Aida still have the Darkhold?

Another thought - We've not seen anything of the good (dead) Senator's brother who is currently spending time with Jimmy Hoffa...
A 5th season has been ordered at least
I’d forgotten him. Probably do something with him next season? It would be a shame to break away from the focus on Aida as the ‘Big Bad’ for the rest of this season.A 5th season has been ordered at least
Been thinking about this - Robbie turning up, the way he did, seemed awfully convenient - Unless there has been a "shift" in "something" that meant that he knew that the darkhold was influencing things in a bad way.
Or something.
Glad to see the series come full circle, of course, but it seemed a little handy.
I sense an amount of ass kicking due to come - And I hope we don't lose Mack. Or Yo-yo for that matter....

I thought Aida's death was a bit of a letdown.
I thought it was good actually, it was refreshing not to have a drawn out battle with everyone involved, where everyone is on the brink of death, etc. And I didn't expect it the way it happened either!Alex@POD said:
That last scene, after the "we'll be back in a moment" announcement... What?!
What a season this has been. Was it me or was Robbie's exit reminiscent of Dr Strange?
Yeah, I see what you mean. I didn’t notice at the time. I guess it could be similar interdimensional-technology. What a season this has been. Was it me or was Robbie's exit reminiscent of Dr Strange?

And what happened at the end - I don't get it!
They all froze because the shadowy bald guy was using the temporary paralysis thingy from Iron Man 1. Some of the online chatter thinks that the team who captured them is S.W.O.R.D., seeing as S.H.I.E.L.D.'s name is mud now, and in the comics they have a space station. It would be an interesting premise for season 5 for the team to have to compete with S.W.O.R.D. to be the World Security Council's go-to people.

What did Robbie say to Coulson?
he made a deal with the Ghost Rider, or the powers behind him.Robbie said that there’s only one reason why the Ghost Rider agreed to such an arrangement. Coulson acknowledged that he knows what Robbie is talking about, but that it remain a secret for now until he is ready to tell the rest of his team.
I think the people who came to collect Coulson (and team?) at the end of the episode were not connected to his deal with the Ghost Rider, I (we) have a theory but think it's spoilers so won't publish.
