Watched this during our weekly ste movie night (also featured greats like Blubberella and Iron Sky... Manborg and Rubber are next on the list).

This was absolutely awful. At least Blubberella, while completely and utterly terrible, had its moments of sheer laugh out loud what-the-fkery like the man in the fish suit, the blacked up white guy talking smack to Hitler and escaping the Nazi's on a Segway.

Garbage.

Well that was.... interesting. The other half lasted all of 10 minutes, looked at me (as if I was the stupid one) and went to bed.

Cracking story, flawless acting and brilliant effects. Honest! At least it gave me a chance to sit still and enjoy a malt for the first time in a while.

And that ending.... laugh

hehe Some of the CGI looks like it was done the same way as Slimer in Ghostbusters!

I have to come in and cover one of my staff tomorrow.

A 12hour shift on a Security desk with nothing to do for about 10 hours. I feel that i might have an Asylum day, I'm currently browsing their back catalog to see what to watch.
Sharknado is a yes and i'm thinking of doing all the Megas (shark x2, piranha and python), a productive day ahead i think.

I swear I saw a film poster for "Sharkalanche". I've no idea whether it was a spoof but knowing this trend for silly, silly films its probably genuine!

You can see the appeal. It is the modern CGI version of the old, 'crappy' B-movies with crap plots, poor effects, etc. They have a place.

Watched this the other night. What exactly was Tara Reid going to do with a Hedge Trimmer?

The asylum must have a budget of literally pounds the number of stock scenes and poorly done blue/green screen shots it's almost as though they film something once then try and use it as often as possible across as many films as they can.

I think it adds to the charm.

The bloke from 'Dead Man's Shoes' is in the Crocosaurus one, as an Indiana Jones type fellow.
