watchmen was done perfectly. In fact i was stunned. The casting everything was spot on.
The only casting choice that wasn't quite right for me was Matthew Goode as Adrian Veidt/Ozymandias. Should have been more muscular/god-like.

How Gilliam would have ended Watchmen.

Whilst watching I Am Legend this morning at 3am I noticed this billboard with the Batcape superimposed with Supermans S in the background.

Forward the clip to 4.47

It seems as if it's been planned for a while.

I remember this being brought up at the time. Started a lot of speculation from what I remember.

This one:

Apparently it is purely co-incidental. It sure got the comic book guys talking when it was first noticed though.

ETA - I remember reading somewhere that it was added as a bit of a joke. They basically picked the coolest possible film idea and then the world ended before it could be released.

Well, here's the new Batmobile and Affleck in his suit, courtesy of Zack Snyder on Twitter:

Love the new wheels, looks like a blend of the Nolan Tumbler and the Keaton era Batmobile.

As for the suit, no surprises really, very similar to the Snyder Superman look.

Yeah you can see the Nolan films influence...it at least looks good.

I'm guessing it's mostly the suit, but Bats is looking massively beefed in that pic. Much like Snyder's Supes, much more muscular than before.

I think it suits Bats better, he should be a powerhouse.

Yeah, he actually looks liken badass.
I guess it'll be mostly suit, which is a shame, because Supes was all real.

I'm intrigued more than anything to see how the fit him into existing universe of Supes.

It's not often major characters just appear in movie universes without any back stories.

I wonder how much of that is padding and how much is tren and clen. He looks like a 250lb bodybuilder in the suit.

Even with the training and bulking, i suspect cutting would reveal a shape that falls quite a way short of that.

That's Affleck alright; you can tell by the lack of neck.

Yep loving what I can see of the new car. I never did get on with the Tumbler, looked too much like those crazy Japanese modified Kei-Vans to my eyes. This actually looks like a proper Gothic Batmobile.

yes

Not sure why they have gone for some an extreme look (even down to the amount of veins)

i only know about 2 people who can achieve that look (and currently do) and they both spend a reasonable amount on steriods/growth hormones
