Celebrity big brother
Discussion
I don't watch this tripe, but the wife does. She told me that Caroline MgGiffin (or whatever her name is, Chris Evans ex) got hauled over the coals for using the n word, but she used it in the context of explaining to someone else what Big Ron had got into hot water over (the John Terry defence).
If that's true, what's the issue. I would never use that word in everyday conversation but I would quite happily use it to explain to someone what Big Ron had said.
I can't see any black person being remotely offended by someone using the word in that context. The world has gone bonkers.

They hauled in Ron for a joke he made about taking in a bomb to a woman who was wearing a makeshift headscarf, not exactly pc but christ it was a joke.....a bad one admittedly
made me laugh, as i took it for what it was a jokeits the sort of remark i would make in fun, and im far from racist
just this feck*d up world we live in, whereby everyone is so serious
maybe we should split the island, into those that have a sense of humour and those that dont, so we can all get on with our lives

I guess they're just so 5hit scared off offending someone and being taken off air, fined or whatever. It's utter dross though anyway.
Agreethe origanal version, was good as it gave an insight into social interaction
but they try and manipulate people
which i dont feel is necessary. when left alone, groups always find their own order. and can be entertaining for a number of reasons
the fact BigBrother feels the need to jump in, in this instances goes against the principal of the idea.
these types of comments etc are normally a reflection of society, and it would have been more intresting to see how others reacted etc
i would be intrested to see how the majority of society feel about his and many other comments in the house
as regardless of the PC brigade i feel the majority wouldnt care less, including many social groups etc that the comments may have been made about
its about time the media manned up, and was a reflection of what the majority of society feels is right, not just a few do gooders
