Shocking use of a comma! Brads67 said:
Yup, the "is" is strong. I`m so ashamed lol.
Edited, not so sure the "is" is stressed actually, the "ma" might be the stressed element no ?
English teachers to the rescue please.

I've watched a few episodes of The Good Cop which I've found surprisingly enjoyable. But I also really enjoyed White Collar, so perhaps my judgement isn't the best!
Nothing wrong with White Collar ATM said:

Jack Reacher, Never go back.
All action film, good plot. Tom Cruise.
The first jack reacher was good but the 2nd was pants. All action film, good plot. Tom Cruise.
Saw "The Night Comes for us" at weekend. Jeeze, that was incredible. Makes The Raid look like a Disney family movie. Ridiculously violent, well put together, some of the best action scenes I have ever experienced.

The Foreigner
Jackie Chan plays a Chinese Takeaway owner who witnesses his daughter being killed in a "new-IRA" terrorist attack and vows vengeance on the bombers.
On the face of it it sounded ste, but it was surprisingly punchy and emotionally delicate - Chan pulled off the character well. Brosnan was reliable although his NI accent was about as good as Sam Neill...

Watched all of them and they do leave things a bit in the air.LoonyTunes said:
I don't know why but the Netflix picture is better for me on my new 65" 4K UHD HDR telly when coming from the Sky Q box than it is from the TV's own Netflix App. Must be a difference in the processing.
It depends on the TV brand, some will be better than others. I find the best picture you can get is via an Apple TV 4k, simply stunning!Beefmeister said:
Not Netflix, but Origin on YouTube Originals is really good. A few episodes in and it's got me properly hooked.
Just been reading about this...big budget...looks great.Too many people getting into producing TV shows now...difficult to keep up...

It's more convenient than firing up my PS4 and saves me £3 a month, so no real complaint!

OUTLAW / KING.
Pine had the accent pretty good until his motivational speech where it fell away a bit but overall it was brilliant. Off to pick a fight with the English now.
WHAT'S MA fkEN NAME!?
It may have been brilliant, but it was about as historically accurate as Braveheart, ie nowhere near.Pine had the accent pretty good until his motivational speech where it fell away a bit but overall it was brilliant. Off to pick a fight with the English now.

Actually that's unfair, they did at least make an effort with the backstory and the timeline.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
Basically Generation Z does Buffy, so expect all the usual hot topics to be covered/cast and it to be nothing like as good. Both angsty and generally quite beige, the one stereotype that isn't tackled is the casting of the posh English bloke as the baddy...
Michelle Gomez hams it up beautifully as the cougarish, two faced evil witch demon thing and my 12 year old son (the target audience afterall) is really enjoying it. Just the right amount of scare for him.
All in all, not something you'd rush to watch yourself, but certainly good enough to watch with your teenage kids.
I watched a couple of these over the weekend, but with no teenagers to excuse my viewing selection! I was expecting far less focus on the 'witchery' element and for the whole thing to be more lighthearted and comedic as per the original TV series. The fact that it wasn't is to it's credit and I've found myself quite keen to continue watching.
It was a bit of a surprise to see Lucy Davis (aka Dawn out the Office) doing a turn as one of the Aunts.
