I thought Disney+ was not yet available in the UK?

Don't forget Amazon Prime.
Not being pedantic - isn't Amazon and Amazon Prime the same thing?

My Netflix subscription has come to an end mainly due to me not paying for it but living with someone who did. I'm wandering now if I subscribe myself or go elsewhere but not sure what alternatives are available?
Amazon, Disney+, Apple TV that's about it.
And Now TV

Got all the way through the OA. WTF was the last episode all about.
My brain started steaming trying to keep up with it.

Very disappointed.

Anyone watched the OA?
Saw it last night and watched 3 episodes. I don't know anything about it so just watching and working it out as I go along.

I think I like it but not sure.
The first series?

Prepare for disappointment

Just finished the Irishman and I would say it is well worth the time needed to invest in it.

I would say it is best to regard it as a very good TV miniseries rather than a movie. It is very episodic and slow paced and watching it in bite sized chunks allows you to appreciate the quality of the story telling and the acting.

I absolutely *loved* The OA. The ending is one of the best I've ever seen. But supposedly there's no third series, so that's a massive pisser...

The Irishman. Excellent.

Had to watch it in 2 sittings but one I will make time for again and watch more closely.

The deepfake technology is insane, however it was pretty intrusive at places but superbly done.

I do wonder if this is the last time we will see all of the powerhouse actors together or even in another major hit.

Watched episode 1 of V Wars last night. Bit bladey, bit contagion-y vampire series that’s new this week.

Other than the fact that one of the main characters seems to be wearing a poorly fitted wig, 7 neck bites out of 10.

I’ve watched the first 2 episodes on In The Dark, so far so good. It’s nothing groundbreaking but reasonable entertainment.

it seems ok TBH, but nothing more. I am enjoying it though - I would add at this point that it's not really (IMO) a horror show

On the back of the Irishman I watched goodfellas last night. \

Superb film, unsure how I missed it all these years.

If you want an epic but long De Niro film I absolutely loved Once Upon A Time In America.
