Started watching Quicksand last night - Only 1 episode into it so far, but definitely looking forward to watching the rest - Swedish series by the same writers that did 'The Bridge'

I started to watch Black Summer....2 Episodes in so far...it's ok, the acting is not that great, the car scenes in Ep.2 especially.

Will stick with it though as I like the genre
On episode 6 now - enjoying it, and there are some really tense moments, but you’ve got to wonder if any of the characters have ever seen a zombie movie before

Edit: I've watched all 8 episodes now, and on reflection, it was actually a bit st. Started off strong with a few good episodes, then really went downhill for the last 3 - Think this must have had a rather small budget, and it really shows. Shame, as I like a good zombie film/series, and this looked like it would be quite refreshing given the nature of the first few episodes, but am left feeling quite disappointed by it.

His earlier stuff is much funner, and in particular Summer Heights High
Angry Boys was good, similar kind of thing where he plays all characters, but I couldn’t get on with Lunatics either - Watched Angry Boys on iPlayer but not sure if it’s still on there

Our Planet: Behind The Scenes
Great documentary showing how this series was filmed, spectacular footage and some seriously tough conditions to work in. Final scenes with the walrus were a bit hard to watch, very sad

A few months back people were talking on this thread about a film called The Blind Side. Finally got around to watching it tonight, and must say it lived up to all the good reviews on here, so thanks! Really enjoyed it

Just binged "60 Days" as am off with a cold and had time to kill.

Slow burner but fascinating to watch.

Came to conclusion that "Robert is a prize twunt" but you'll need to watch for yourself.
Got 2 episodes left of this - really enjoying it, and yes Robert is an absolute bell end

And they look 76 even with the make up
it;s cgi. it is odd as their bodies are clearly much older, one scene with De niro stomping, looked like at 70 year odd. The acting is good, it just feels all very odd, like last of the summer wine doing Goodfellas.
Just got to that scene, and thought exactly the same - DeNiro’s eyes look very odd - good film so far though

Edit: 1hr 20m into it, have got really bored and switched it off - maybe not in the mood to watch it, but all the union stuff isn’t doing it for me - shame as it started off really good

Don’t F**k With Cats - Hunting an Internet Killer

Only 3/4 through episode 1 so far but wow, I’m hooked - 3 part docu-series about someone that posted a video online of themselves killing a couple of kittens, and the subsequent online witch hunt by people from all around the world trying to find out who the killer is. An amazing story so far and not even finished episode 1 yet....

I’ve seen the trailer and I don’t think I could watch it. The story is terrible. What he goes on to do is something else.
Jesus, you’re not wrong! Just starting episode 2 and things have escalated somewhat!

EDIT: Just finished all 3 episodes - HOLY S**T!!! That was unbelievable! One hell of a story though, couldn’t stop watching

Is this cats thing graphic?

Sounds interesting but don't really want to be seeing any cruelty etc, assume this isn't shown?
It’s not graphic, any scenes from the actual videos are pixelated and they don’t show the actual killing scenes - but it’s quite descriptive in what happened so still quite shocking

Messiah

Very slow so far and is clearly another series were it all happens at the end. Not sure yet.

EDIT

Well it is very slow, too slow, tedius and for such a great premise, the application onto film is pretty weak. 5/10

I thought it started well - but lost its way. Too many sub-plots too. Still worth 6.5/10 'cos of the good bits.
Got to episode 6 last night - felt it started slow but has got better with each episode, so will stick with it - very suspect quality though, often seems out of focus, and that tornado was pretty awfully done, especially when the pastors wife ran outside into it and her hair and clothes didn’t move in the wind
