'Don't look down'
Richard Branson's hot air balloon crossings of the Atlantic and the Pacific, edge of the seat stuff for an hour and a half.
Bloody brilliant.
Enjoyed watching this last night. Did come across a bit like amateur hour with all the things that went wrong however. I'd also say that parts felt a little rushed. It might have been down to the amount of footage they had to use, but I thought it could have at least been a two-parter.Richard Branson's hot air balloon crossings of the Atlantic and the Pacific, edge of the seat stuff for an hour and a half.

Was just going to come on here and post about it!
6 episodes in now.
The lead actor is awesome. I saw him in goosebumps and a few other things. Really makes this series.
First episode was good, second was terrible, and after that it gets better.
Not a fan of the lead girl, she makes it a little "dawson's creeky"
really recommend it. Not as good as stranger things, but still very good.
Ok Cool, will definitly investigate! Thank You 6 episodes in now.

The Killings of Tony Blair.
A documentary hosted by George Galloway (). However, he was quite tame and the programme included a host of other interviewees. All about the greed and hypocrisy of Tony Blair.
If you want to watch something that simply makes you more angry about Blair, then watch this.

Anyone else get the latest Netflix email for 'Dear White People'?
If they replaced the word white with brown or black, there would be uproar (and rightly so), so why is it OK for this?
Or, I am probably over-reacting...

I don't think anything could make me despise him more. However if you think this might I'll give it a try.A documentary hosted by George Galloway (). However, he was quite tame and the programme included a host of other interviewees. All about the greed and hypocrisy of Tony Blair.

I can guarantee it...I don't think there's anything new here, with the exception of getting insights from other people who were involved, either directly or indirectly.

Seeing his grinning face actually made me shudder I reserve the insult for very few people. He's one.
G. Galloway is a strange bloke, I dislike his politics and dislike him but have a grudging admiration for him.

Thirteen reasons why
We're about halfway through and are gripped. It's slowing down as American shows often do, but there's enough to leave us wanting more. What the hell did Clay do ffs?! (Don't tell us)
Well we stuck with it...a very powerfull piece of film! Absolutely amazing and very thought provoking. 10/10 - possibly one of the best Netflix originals yet. We're about halfway through and are gripped. Found the last few episodes hard to watch, but really really good.
Dylan Minnette and Christian Navarro were absolutely incredible in it. Great careers ahead of them. Same with everone else in it. Even if I found Hannah a bit annoying, even that was well acted.

In my local area there have been a few local young people that have sadly taken their own lives, so it really touched a nerve.
On a completely different tangent I can also recommend Sand Castle as a great Iraq war film.

Based on the above recommendations I've just started 13 reasons why. Only seen teh 1st episode so far, but seems alright. Quite relevant as someone I know has just had their son (who's about 15) try to commit suicide at school.....
Thanks for the recommendation
