USS Indianapolis

Well I had high hopes for this - the story of the US warship that transported the atomic bomb to Tinian before getting torpedoed on the way back.

Turns out that it's st. Cheesy dialogue and dreadful CGI that looks as though it was programmed on an old 486. I made it as far as the ship going down and have given up.

Disappointing.

Is anyone else finding OITNB really hard work? It's so dull compared with the previous series.

Not sure I thought it had good points but the story seemed stretched to the Max. The previous season were stringer and better.

Late to the game as usual, but I ended up watching ALL of Stranger Things yesterday (after thinking there were 15 episodes but actually only 8 + 7 trailers) and loved it - can't wait for S2. Tons of plot holes but I reckon that was only because I was watching everything back to back; loved the setting, the cast and the score.

Literally, not figuratively, the best news I'll get today.

Last night watched 'Gringo: The Dangerous Life of John Mcafee' - what an absolute headcase, from earning his millions with his antivirus software, to living in Belize, being completely paranoid and hiring the most violent gang members as his security, being involved in a couple of murders, going on the run in Guatemala and then running for president in the US...

Was transfixed to the screen as couldn't quite believe someone could live such a life (or have such a disgusting fetish vomit )

Thoroughly recommended...

Young Offenders.

No idea why i stuck this on but actually quite enjoyed it. Quite charming if a little cheesy.
I saw this a couple of weeks ago, thoroughly enjoyed it with few genuine laugh out loud moments.
Me too. Goodsilly, not badsilly.
I'm watching this today - first half on the train to work, second half tonight on the way home.

It's (so far) lightweight but endearing and funny; a story of two good-hearted, but criminal, young idiots t'ickos.

They should use that on the posters and trailers. I'm already excited! Imagining something between Postman Pat and Die Hard.
