Tried the first episode of the second series of Shooter last night.

It was OK in an "America - fk yeah!" sort of way.

Not that discount - Wahlberg is worth over $250 million while Damon is scraping by with only $160 million
You can't use that at a valid barometer of acting talent. Adam Sandler is worth 340 million.
fking hell.

Brazilian film called "Bald Mountain". All about the gold rush in Brazil during the early 80's. Swmbo was telling me all about it and how it was in the papers while she was growing up in São Paulo.

Salem is pretty good if you are into supernatural type dramas.

Watched the first couple of seasons a couple of years ago on a different streaming program but discovered all 3 seasons are now on Netflix. Lucy Lawless appears in the 2nd season

I'll give this a watch soon. I watched Salt of the Earth a while ago, about Brazilian photographer Sebastao Salgado. It kicks off with his work around the gold rush. His photos are simply astonishing, considering the decade they come from!

Up to Ep5, pretty much enjoying it, finding Bateman quite refreshing playing a serious part, however I'm struggling with the timeframe, it seems everything is happening at an unbelievable pace

Move, buy house, buy businesses, buy building project, all within the space of what seems less than a week!

Reports Disney are pulling content from Netflix, sounds like something more aimed at their sports platform (ESPN). Not sure what I would be missing anyway but rumours that 4k star wars remasters might be happening.

Getting a bit bored with Netflix now. Thought I might get a good bit of 4K but in reality, watching a chef mix up some bread, well......... Some of the series I have enjoyed and one or two films, but it always seems to fall a tad short for some reason.

Finished Ozarks it was great and now on to Designated Survivor. Without Netflix and Amazon not sure how much TV I would watch.

The wife and I are getting into "Orange is the new black" at the moment - it's a good programme to sit down with your OH as there's content for both sexes.

65 episodes (and counting) too, so that's a lot of entertainment on the go.

Suits is in the same camp too - enjoyable watching for either sex.

I watched Chosen last night and whilst it's an entertaining way to spend a couple of hours, the lack of faithfulness to historical accuracy left me feeling short-changed.

I've not long started this, on S3 but i'm finding it quite difficult to sit through. It has prison break written all over it. That said they are sstill going over the main characters backgrounds so i guess there is a lot more to come.

Z Nation.

A tongue in cheek, faster paced Walking Dead clone on steroids.

Only on E3 but wow, not for the squeamish.

Just finished watching Rake (after finishing off Ozark), Aussie legal comedy/drama set in Sydney. Well worth the watch with some great laugh out loud moments!

Hmm I found s7 a little disappointing too, especially at the end. Shame, it used to be one of my favourite shows
Ever since the Vice season, I found the first viewing of the new seasons to be a bit meh; however I found they improve greatly on repeat viewing, especially if you binge-watch from S1E1.

Ive just started re-watching Rake from the beginning, such a great anti-hero. Still waiting for them to announce S5 broadcast date, was supposed to be May

I'd recommend Flaked (Netflix) starring Will Arnett if you like Rake, and of course Californication
