Californication.

Yes I realise we've had 7 Seasons of it so I'm well behind the curve on this but from what I've seen of Series 1 I'm enjoying it.

Contratiempo (aka: The Invisible Guest).

Absolutely superb Spanish thriller/mystery. Lot's of layers unravel and keeps you guessing right up until the end. Excellent acting and great script!

Don't read what it's about - just watch!

Really enjoyed Swedish 'Loveliest hands in Delhi' about a loser Swedish journalist who finds himself in India - watch out for Prettie who lives up to her name!

Just binged Atypical, having intended to only watch the first. However, just kept going.

Not perfect, but bloody good. Some very good performances, the lead and his sister especially.

And a line very near the end of the last ep is hands down the funniest thing I have heard this year.

Boyka: Undisputed.

Two words, Scott Adkins, will tell you all you need to know about this ridiculous film. That being said for a film of that type it wasn't the worst I have seen. 30%?

"The bomb".

60 odd minutes of mental.

Lots of nukes going off to the sound of ambient trance music.

Perfect viewing after the pub.

Designated survivor.

Watched the first episode when it came out and gave up half way through as I thought it was ridiculous.

Watched it again due to the mountain of positivity and great recommendations and it indeed gets much better as the series progresses.

Must win the prize for a series that turns great after a rubbish start.

It’s all pretty far fetched really, but I did feel it got much better as it went on. hehe

Felt it was getting rather dull on Netflix then Norsemen pops up. Like a fly on a he wall mockumentary.....

I can't find that in my Netflix. Is it a regional thing maybe?

Not strictly Netflix alone, but the Guardian (don't shoot me) have done a list of The 25 hidden TV gems you need to see, some of which are on Netflix (and Prime, iplayer etc).

The 'comedies' sound awful but some of the other stuff sounds good/interesting. Just started 'Death on a Staircase' which is a (slightly weaker and therefore still strong) Making a Murderer true crime thing on iplayer.

I have just watched "What Happened to Monday" with Naoomi Rapace and Willem Dafoe. It was very good and Naoomi was excellent playing seven characters, check it out

lost interest half way through, nothing original, she acted well for a few parts but forgettable.
