Hmm I found s7 a little disappointing too, especially at the end. Shame, it used to be one of my favourite shows
Ever since the Vice season, I found the first viewing of the new seasons to be a bit meh; however I found they improve greatly on repeat viewing, especially if you binge-watch from S1E1.Finished S8 few days ago, left a bit cold and confused, tho quite liked the 40's stuff. Dream sequence meant it was all inconsequential but also yup try to get used to the different characters was a bit odd. And Not much humour or if it was humour it missed the mark for me like all the incest stuff. And Barry (Dutch's) last supper, Lana at the end, it was pretty dark.
But I heard there are 2 more series commissioned so hopefully they can bring it back.

I have just watched "What Happened to Monday" with Naoomi Rapace and Willem Dafoe. It was very good and Naoomi was excellent playing seven characters, check it out
lost interest half way through, nothing original, she acted well for a few parts but forgettable. King Herald said:

It's called "The most beautiful hands of Delhi".
Ahaa, so having the correct title helps when looking for a title. The sub titles make me pay more attention than I normally would, as I tend to browse the Internet on the iPad while watching most TV, so I miss a lot of plot.

Bit late to the party, but I started watching "The Detectorists" the other night, best thing I've watched for a while, the kind of TV show that relaxes you and makes you smile in a feel good way, with a few belly laughs in there too.
Just 'Detectorists'.Think its worth making the point considering how anal they are about not being called 'Detector's' in the show
Great charming little series though.

Just watched the first two episodes, excellent choice. Almost makes me want to pack up and take a plane flight...

Felt it was getting rather dull on Netflix then Norsemen pops up. Like a fly on a he wall mockumentary.....
Just started watching this, thought it was going to be like the Vikings series, with the opening scene, nice cinematography, almost to polished for a comedy. Enjoying it so far though, some funny moments with the slavesGassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
