I got the usual "we're not starting something else, are we? We've got three on the go already. I'm not watching it!" from the Keeper of All Information.
glad I'm not the only one to hear this!

On advice of a friend I binged American Vandal over last weekend; hands-down the funniest, smartest thing I have seen in a long long time. will watch again/10.
We're 3 episodes in, and whilst enjoying it, I'm wondering if it continues in the same vein for another 5 hours, or does it step up a gear?

Mindhunter, i read the book so pretty good, and watched the first episode, very good, even say one of the best shows made by netflix so far.

It does mix things up a little about halfway through. Also let it be known that the “nana’s party analysis” scene in episode 6 (I think) is one of the best things I’ve seen in ages.

Out of interest have you watched/listened to the likes of Making a Murderer, or Serial? As American Vandal is a satirical take on these true-crime documentaries I think you get a lot more out of it if you know what it is they are referencing.

Yes, we were hooked on Making a Murderer, so when I saw this trailed in the summer I made a point of waiting for it to be released.

I'm enjoying it, I just wasn't sure if it was going to make any progress from the end of E3. We'll persist with it.

It's been shunted below The Good Place now though. That's amazing.

Just gave 13th a watch. I'm surprised such a blatant propaganda piece was given a BAFTA for best documentary. It brings up interesting points on how messed up the justice system in the US, but focuses so closely on the narrative (whites enslaving blacks) that it ignores anything which doesn't fit the agenda.

Ice guardians was a good watch, even though I don't follow ice hockey.

Backstrom. Dwight K Schrutt (or at least the same actor) is the leading detective in a homicide unit. There are other familiar faces scattered throughout.

Its a bit of a parody (drunk cop bending the rules) but good light entertainment and a few laughs per episode.

Watched 4 episodes so far and totally hooked. Fantastic production values, great cast, smart script and genuinely interesting.

If you're a fan of the first season of True Detective or movies like David Fincher's 'Zodiac' I can't recommend this to you highly enough.

Some real funny bits in that.

Been watching Mindhunter the last week or so, an episode a night, and whilst it took a while to get going, and it's not an "edge-of-your-seat" type programme, it is rather good!

I thought the same after the 1st episode, but yes, it does pick up and worthwhile watching IMO.
