Just started last night, 2 episodes in. Some chronic acting, but probably because it is dubbed, expressions and mannerisms are lost. But looks interesting.
Dubbed? The one I was watching was in German with subtitlesIt was dire with American dubbed voices and I onyl watched about 20 seconds with it like that haha

It was set as American Dubbed when I first started watching, you just need to change the audio/subtitle setting to German/English.

I’ll check my settings. It will probably be better in German. I can’t underatand it, but the emotion will come through better. It was dire with American dubbed voices and I onyl watched about 20 seconds with it like that haha
Forbidden Games: The Justin Fashanu Story.
Watched it last night and really enjoyed it (as in, found it interesting and entertaining but it's not exactly a happy story).
Also started watching Hired Gun; a documentary about session and touring musicians. I only got an hour through it before bed time but I'm looking forward to watching the last 45mins tonight.

Quite a sad film and felt a little disjointed to me. Complex character though and definitely worth watching.Watched it last night and really enjoyed it (as in, found it interesting and entertaining but it's not exactly a happy story).

If you liked 24 and Homeland, then watch Designated Survivor.
I enjoyed the first season, but I’ve given up after a few episodes of the second. Without the plot device that kept me engaged previously (trying to track down those responsible for the ‘big event’), it feels like a poor man’s West Wing.SpudLink said:

This series, it has barely been mentioned.
+1 for The People vs OJ Simpson. We watched it when it was on BBC last year, really good series, very well done I thought, considering I was only 9 when it all happened for real I hadn't seen it play out in the media at the time, or even how much it got, though I have always known the name.
I’ve had a degenerate couple of days and watched 2 seasons of ‘Last Chance U’ on Netflix.
Documentary series about East Mississippi Community College American Football Team.
Not my thing either but it’s really good, crazy insight into a world we as British people generally know nothing about - so much money even at this level and lots of disfunctional kids being pushed through college just because they are promising players.
As for the coaches... the job is their life, absolutely dedicated, one had moved 12 times in 20 years, just to coach teenagers football teams. The coach of my school football team was also the janitor.
