I binge-watched quite a few seasons of Friends when I was working on an American ship. The yanks hated it, took the pish out of me for watching it, but I thought it was very good, hilarious even.
To be fair, I wouldn't imagine the target audience for Friends were the young macho real hard men in your industry!
To be honest, neither would I, but it was funny. hehe

South Park seemed to be more their forte, and they would roll around uproariously every time one of the silly little cartoony tts swore. I thought it was utter juvenile rubbish, they loved it.

We've just started on Black Mirror, watched the first two episodes so far. Liking it a lot.
Season 1? You have a disturbing, but wonderful, journey ahead!
Seconded. One of those rare series where I feel envy for those yet to experience it. Some stories stand out more than others and i found it hard watching on occasion (the whole point of it) and therefore also difficult to binge watch but excellent thought provoking entertainment. Booker really is a dark horse.

Don't think I've ever watched an animation TV programme. The other great US comedy series I loved was Cheers.

Friends season 3.
Currently working my way through the series. Was my favourite programme when originally aired but kept missing episodes. Nice to watch in the correct sequence without missing any.
I havent seen it in years. It really does have some proper funny bits in it. Glad its on Netflix.

Ross is by far the best!

I’m looking forward to Altered Carbon, a sci-fi with more than a nod to the Bladerunner visuals (read: blatant rip-off) about the future where consciousness is transferred from your body to new ‘sleeve’ (clone body) when you die. Starts Feb 2nd
Having seen the trailer, I am hoping it is better, I have a concern it is a dud.

The Books are great.
They are indeed. yes But I have a suspicion you may be biased? hehe

Loved the first three. Thought the fourth(metalhead) was, to be honest, rubbish.

Looking forward to the fifth tonight.
Got that wrong. The first four were excellent, it was the fifth we didn't enjoy (Metalhead).

Finished on a real high last night with the sixth, There were three good movies squashed into that one. Excellent stuff.

5/6

Yup! It was just absolutely brutal. I was actually shouting at my tv thinking ‘please don’t don’t do it’. Quite impressive actually that the husband appeared in two scenes (?) and in that time, they managed to make us, the viewer, emotionally involved with him. That’s great writing and directing imo.

Black Mirror is very good at establishing characters we care about very quickly.

Crocodile was brilliant. We wanted another hour of it.

For me its Jennifer Aniston, she has a couple of assets that frequently appear, as do Lissa Kudrow and Courtney Cox but not to the same extent, obviously cold in the studio/New York.

"Millenials" - a few knobs on Twitter. Which outrage rags like the Daily Heil gleefully use for copy material because hey, outrage = advertising impressions.

Having said that, however, I'm still inclined to think that the world would be a better place if the cold war had ended up with an exchange of several thousand megatons.
