The one with the Prime Minister and the pig put me off somewhat. Dark, clever, but just a bit too dark for me to binge on. I should try the odd episode now and then just to see if it's better in small doses.
This is basically what i'm doing!! I like dark and i'm a brooker fan boy, but yeah.. the pig one took it out of me a little, time to recharge smile

I am also enjoying The Sinner, it's pretty dark though. Started off a bit weirdly and wasn't sure what to think of it, but it has developed quite well. Only 1 episode left which I shall watch this evening.

Finished Fauda a few days ago as well, that was pretty good...I'm not usually into military type stuff like that.

The Pig one is probably the least Black Mirror episode anyway. It was a very strange one to pick for the 'first' episode. A lot of people wouldnt have watched past it I dont think.

I watched the first two (pig and singing comp), missus and I decided it wasn’t for us. Do you think we should try again?

Absolutely. Some of them are incredible.

Just to check, you do know what it was inspired by? David Cameon who was the PM at the time that episode came out, put his penis inside a dead Pigs mouth as part of some toff initiiation ritual at Oxford.

But Black Mirror came out a few years before that news broke.

Brooker admits he was as shocked as anybody. Entirely a fluke.

I watched that months ago, and never went back to the series after. Then I read here how good the rest was, so I am back watching now. So yes, ‘the pig’ was definitly a strange opener for what is an excellent program.

I always recommend to new viewers to skip Season 1 Episode 1 and go back to it later.

Watched the "White Christmas" episode of Black Mirror last night. Seriously dark stuff. Don't think I've ever seen anything like it.

I've watched the first episode only. I wasn't feeling the love for this. Might try one more episode.

Stuff of nightmares that one. Possibly the overall best episode.

I watched the first 4 last night. My kind of humour and found it brilliant, odd but brilliant!

My son was off school sick yesterday. He’d mysteriously rallied just after lunchtime (he’s back at school today), so I looked for something on Netflix to watch.

We stumbled across “Triangle”. It didn’t sound too good from the summary, but we said we’d give it 15 mins. Ended up watching the whole film and really enjoying it. Very cleverly done.

It’s almost 10 years old, made to a budget and the CGI bits are a bit ropey, but it stands up well.

Have fun trying to spot Chris (Thor) Hemsworth’s brother in it.

The funny thing is that I watched that recently and remembered that I had watched it before. I really enjoyed it. I have to mention The Vault also as I watched it before Triangle. Stars James Franco and I thought it was pretty decent.

Give it another go, the episodes are only 20 mins long, it really is very good.

I've only seen the first two episodes and can confirm the second is better. I'm looking forward to watching the rest of this programme.
