Just finished El Chapo which I really enjoyed, god those Mexican cartels are a friendly bunch.
Fantastic series which gets better and better, not far behind Narcos IMO but very brutalMrVert said:
Just finished watching Fargo Series 3.
Every bit as absorbing as the first two series and didn't want it to end..!
Love the way this shows is written and produced.
David Thewlis (as V.M. Varga) was just brilliant. A real panto villain!
I really enjoyed this. I was very wary of Ewan McGregor playing two parts, I have never seen this work and just stops me immersing when I think of the technical difficulties etc. but by the 2nd episode of a binge watch I'd totally forgotten which showed me how engrossed I was. Top draw.Every bit as absorbing as the first two series and didn't want it to end..!

I started watching Black Lighting, nearly turned it off ten minutes in..... but hung in....
.....then found it is only one bloody episode.
You get one episode per week because it's not a Netflix Original, rather they have the international distribution rights......then found it is only one bloody episode.
We have just finished both seasons of Travelers. Really good right from the start and carry's on all the way through both seasons. Even put off stuff i had to do on Sunday to spend the day on the sofa finishing off the last few episodes. Hope they make a 3rd season, oh and Mackenzie Porter.

Looking forward to the new 'Altered Carbon' tomorrow, the book is great noir sci-fi so I hope it translates well to the small screen.
Is that on UK Netflix? Need something Sci-fi to watch since Dark Matter was cancelled, and the new Expanse season is still being wrapped. Looking forward to the new 'Altered Carbon' tomorrow, the book is great noir sci-fi so I hope it translates well to the small screen.
Edit - I just saw the announcement for Friday 2nd.
It looks visually stunning.

I'm praying they do it justice.
RM wraps the story up properly across the 3 books... I'm slightly worried they'll simply ignore the real backbone of the story to push a fairly run-of-the-mill SF detective procedural (cf: Bright: run-of-the-mill cop-with-mismatched-partner movie) on us - ironically more likely if it's popular, as the series would then have to run forever!

Bit behind but two episodes into Dark and I'm absolutely loving it. Will be mighty impressed if it manages to keep up the pace and depth of story for another 8 episodes. So many threads it really demands complete concentration, having to read subtitles helps.
Dark gets very complicated towards the end. I actually had to look up a ‘synopsis’ or whatever it is called to work out exactly what had happened. Altered Carbon is now up, 4k as well.
Edit. Dagnabit. Too much sunlight.....(in Wales, I know, should be applauding the audacity of the shiny thing in the sky) this is for tonight with surround on 11. First few minutes as per book.

Episode 1 of Altered Carbon had enough to keep me going to 2. Hopefully this will be good.
Recently reminded myself of Hitchikers Guide and how many versions there are of that so take this as it comes and forget the book.
The concept seemed good......but I found myself nodding off repeatedly to a feeble weak plot in the second episode. Recently reminded myself of Hitchikers Guide and how many versions there are of that so take this as it comes and forget the book.
Not got to two. I have refrained from re reading the books to see how I take it as I was getting a tad worried. See ref to Hitchhikers guide.
However there was a minimal way they put over the concepts I thought. Sleeves, etc. That was good I thought, no over complicated stuff but then the books have prepped me on this.
