New adventures of Monkey out now. 4 episodes in and enjoying it so far
Yeah, watched one, not sure I can make episode 2. There are a couple of Chinese production Monkeys on netflix, one cartoon and one live action film.
Wish they would re run the TV series from me youth.
Just cancelled out Cinema Paradiso sub and joined the 21st century by signing up to Netflix and loving it so far!
Missus and I are watching The Crown (our sort of thing), I enjoyed Gervais' Humanity, but top billing goes to Flint Town so far - a brilliant documentary.
Also loving unlimited Archer.

I'm watching A Series of Unfortunate Events with the hatchling and it's excellent.
I've got a 4k telly that supports HDR and it switches to HDR mode automatically whenever it has a title that supports it but the picture looks really washed out? The blacks are more grey that anything else...
Any ideas?

My 4k maker has done a deal with the devil and Netflix to permanently bork the Netflix app when HDR is on, some titles better than the others.I've got a 4k telly that supports HDR and it switches to HDR mode automatically whenever it has a title that supports it but the picture looks really washed out? Unfortunate Events seems to be particularly bad (unwatchable in HDR), however I can turn off HDR on the Apple TV and watch it that way, a lot better.

I read somewhere there was a general issue with Dolby Vision which is slowly being fixed as firmware updates (to your TV) roll out. Can you switch your TV to HDR10? That may give you a temporary fix.
This may already have been discussed but just finished watching Badlands -Texas (docuseries) Think it was First on National Geographic. Really enjoyed it and interesting how the inhabitants of a ghost town actually choose to live there. The series itself is about a murder that split the community,

Anyone remember Monkey from the 1980's?

Just sitting down now.........
I totally remember it, blowing across his fingers to get his cloud! I guess thats the problem will it live up to the previous one!Netflix have a new series - The New Legends of Monkey

I watched Dark and was a little disappointed, overly complex, and with about 3 episodes to go suddenly became very predictable.

Just seen something cryptic posted by Netflix on Facebook for the second season of 13 reasons why. And that they are in production for the second season of the AO.
This is the reason I have no time, I could have studied a degree in the time I've spent on Netflix.
I certainly won't be investing any more time in the AO.This is the reason I have no time, I could have studied a degree in the time I've spent on Netflix.
13 Reasons Why was brilliant, IMO, but I'm not sure where they can go with a second series? Or is it a whole different story this time?
