I certainly won't be investing any more time in the AO.

13 Reasons Why was brilliant, IMO, but I'm not sure where they can go with a second series? Or is it a whole different story this time?
If you remember the end of the last season there was what looked to be a boy approaching the school with a weapon, so i'm assuming it will be school shooting type thing

Thank you! Yes, I'd completely forgotten about that...

Saw a good thriller last night called 'Prisoners' with Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhall. Never heard of it before, but was really good.

2 little girls go missing and one of the fathers (Jackman) takes things into his own hands to get them back, whilst Gyllenhall is the cop trying to catch the kidnapper. Worth a watch

For something completely different, Aggretsuko. Japanese cartoon about a red panda tired of her stty accounts job who goes to a karaoke bar after work to scream out death metal songs. 10 episodes, most of them are about 15 minutes. Yes it's weird hehe .

Oh God. It looks like they're going to ruin this like Lost and Heroes. I thought they could get another series out of it, but that tweet makes it sound like there's quite a few series yet!

Let's hope not. I hope the writers can see past the perma-script.

Just finished Californication. Absolutely brilliant.

Some of the best, most funny and tragic writing i've ever seen. 11/10.
Why the fk have I never seen this before? After reading your recommendation I've binged through to near the end of S2... I had to stop at the end of Lew Ashby's party... for obvious reasons. I really love that character.

Excellent series.

Happy!
Finished the series and really enjoyed it.
I'm hoping theirs a second series's.
We watched the first and got completely hooked - it's properly bonkers but the acting by the lead is perfectly cast which just makes it.

Have only watched the second but it's our new nightly show!

It's good right through to the end, maybe even gets better.

Just watched the Seven Five - great documentary about police corruption in America. If you enjoyed Operation Odessa you will like this.

Also watched "Nightstalker" with Jake Gyllenhaal and enjoyed it
I will have to watch that as Operation Odessa was really good.

Have you watched Shot in the dark? Documentary about 'Stringers' who film accidents etc for news, real life nightstalkers basically.

Just cancelled out Cinema Paradiso sub and joined the 21st century by signing up to Netflix and loving it so far!

Missus and I are watching The Crown (our sort of thing), I enjoyed Gervais' Humanity, but top billing goes to Flint Town so far - a brilliant documentary.

Also loving unlimited Archer.
Enjoyed flint town also.

If you haven't watched it yet then should add making a murderer to the list. Another good documentary series.

Accidentally selected Closed Circuit - I'll generally watch anything with Eric Bana in it, I like his acting style. Turned it off about 2/3 of the way through. It moves at a reasonable pace but I found that the plot twists were painfully obvious, and there's not a shred of originality in the film. And I couldn't care less about any of the characters.

Finished Star Trek Discovery though. I took a big break as I thought the series lost it's way about 5 episodes in, but picked it up again. It's no GoT but the character development does improve in the second half of the series, which offsets the storyline which seems to ping from one narrative to another a bit excessively.

Seriously thinking about watching Altered Carbon again though. I've watched it 1.5 times already and it's visually one of the most gorgeous shows I've watched, I loved the characters and thought they wrapped up the first season really well.

I wanted to like this I really did. I couldn’t stand that stupid animated unicorn. I’m out.

I know what it's like to want to like a programme but be unable to get past one of the main characters. I couldn't watch Star Trek Discovery for that reason.
