Just finished it today and really enjoyed it. It's really made me wonder if he did do it or not.
Certainly a head scratcher isn't it.
I watched a long series about this guy on storyville a couple of years ago on bbc iPlayer.
It had a camera crew following him about at the time of the trial - does this series have that as well or is it all done on retrospect?

Sounds like it might be the same thing but with further episodes. It's the same guys who made The Keepers (also on Netflix and great viewing) along with Making a Murderer.

If you've seen only the trial and the verdict there is more to see.

Two episodes into 'Staircase'. Enjoying it so far.
After seeing this I started watching too.

I think I'm on the 3rd now.
Couldnt get along with it, couldnt get at empathy with any of the characters. It was like watching tv and flicking channels where every channel talking about the same thing. v odd, interesting idea of filming!

Watched Burn, Burn, Burn today. Very good Brit tragicomedy about two girls taking a road trip to scatter their mate's ashes at various locations he requested. Starts a bit slow and comedy a little hit and miss but actually gets quite moving and poignant. Recommend it.

There's also a good BBC podcast about this, called 'Beyond Reasonable Doubt?'

I don't think I give anything away if i talk about the other case where the guy was smoking crack and got 17 years. Holy F sheet. Imagine that.

I urge everyone to watch the 3 part documentary November 13: Attack on Paris

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLKBBaQLGo8

I hadn't seen anything in near as much detail on it, especially how it all finished. A hard watch as you can imagine but a must watch IMO.

It's a hard watch to see how much damage a handful of morons can do with a few weapons. The chap who lost his wife at the cafe had me in tears. Such a pointless waste of life.

I hope I don't sound like a dick when I say - the human body is very fragile and its easy to inflict serious damage if you want to.

Anyway I want to recommend wild wild country.

Yep, I meant more in terms of numbers. It pretty obvious the body is no match for an assault rifle.

It's unfortunate that we have an industry which figures out how to make assault rifles better at what they do. It's unfortunate that some crazy people sit around trying to figure out how to hurt other people to make some kind of statement. If they put their mind to it I'm sure the average person could figure out plenty of ways to hurt or damage a lot of people. But people generally just don't do that. I don't see how we can really protect ourselves from the actions of a few crazies because at the end of the day we are pretty fragile and easy to damage and it doesn't take a genius to figure out how to hurt a few people.

On a lighter note, Hollow is proving a big hit with my 8 and 12 year old.

Animated series with kind of a quantum leap/dnd, 'trying to get home' story arc with a series of adventures, tests etc each ep.

It's good. Actiony with good story telling.

Just watched this. I want to say it is worth watching. For me it's interesting how different the people both reacted and then talked about their reactions.

I read somewhere that a second season has been given the go ahead, they will be selling time shares this time.

Just started watching Glitch over the weekend after my sister recommended it. 3 episodes in and getting hooked but the wife's not so keen so may be a problem.
