I have a Bravia Android TV and have to (probably every other week) reconnect manually to WiFi. A tad annoying.

Got bored of Continuum after one episode and 15 minutes. Shame.

What tv do you have?

I put an Ethernet connection into mine as it’s totally stable then and also supposed to be much better when streaming 4k content from Netflix etc, if you can that would be the easiest fix.
You could use a set of those powerline ethernet connectors between the router and tv instead of running a wire direct also, they usually work well.
It's a Sony Bravia...connected up using powerline adapters.
Ah ok, there does that idea then!

I’m surprised you get issues using that though, normally they are pretty solid.
Maybe try a different set as suggested above to see if they are faulty somehow, can always return the new ones if the problem persists.

My bravia breaks Internet connection and its a bugger to get back. This is pre-android bravias. I read up it was a wifi issue but maybe not, i never tried it over ethernet.

Not sure if it has been mentioned previously but for those that have an amazon box (I have the box not the stick) getting Netflix through that is almost faultless. Proper 4k, proper digital sound output and firmware updates as they arrive. Best bit though is one less remote to faff about with.

Some "weekly" shows are nearing maturity, i.e all episodes ready to watch. I hate the way Netflix does this! But they have kindly dropped all of Ozark S2 on there to watch, which is nice.

Better call Saul - has about a month left
Shooter - nearly there I think
Suits - nearly or all there I think

It’s not really, he mentions amazon box but using this to stream 4k Netflix, considering people had network issues with Sony TVs then this could be a work around for them.
Read the post properly please winktongue out

Thanks Lazer / Efbe,

Just to add. I didn't have any network issues with my Sony TV but had issues with the time alignment on the audio into the AV amp and some DRM issues getting the 4k to work.

Using the Amazon box FOR Netflix solved both issues.

I will never buy another Sony! I have one to replace a broken old Panasonic, whilst the picture is great the apps are shocking. Netflix works faultlessly but Prime/Youtube/Google Play all stutter and freeze - makes me wonder if Netflix payed them to nobble the other apps due to the Netflix button?!

I'm late to the party once again, but we watched Dark in it's entirety over the last few days, really enjoyed it, despite the dubbing into English which was nearly a deal breaker at the start.

I didn't realise I had come up to date with Better Call Saul, I would have held off this serious if I had known.

The way my life goes I tend to lose interest if I have to go a week without watching something frown

Hooked from the moment that guy hit the pavement.
