I'm late to the party once again, but we watched Dark in it's entirety over the last few days, really enjoyed it, despite the dubbing into English which was nearly a deal breaker at the start.
Thread rule is subtitles only.
Once you get used to it, it's a far better way to watch foreign TV programmes - my wife hated it at first but now she wouldn't watch anything dubbed and there's a lot of good non-English stuff on Netflix.

I didn't even know you could choose?! I would've much preferred to watch it in German with subtitles, but pressed 'play' and accepted what was broadcast to me, so I can play with the settings and get German and subtitles then?

Paradise PD is pretty good. Still working through it.

Lots of references in there to lots of stuff. Like the Better Call Saul copy shop bit they turned into editing the Bible.

I too was late to the party as I watched back in Feb this year. One of the best series I have seen.

Yes, the English dub was a deal breaker until I realised that subtitles were available. Normally, unless advertised as dubbed (I never watch dubs - hate them), subtitles are default. Not so with Dark - nearly turned off before I thought of the subtitle menu.

Dubbing ruins almost anything. Just try watching a dubbed version of the Simpsons and you'll see how much it loses in the process.

The only thing you need to watch out for is that the subtitles often lose a lot of the dialogue & can miss out bits that you might need. Though the dubbed version is usually different from both the subtitles and the original!

I watched Dark before last Christmas and TBH found it a hard slog by episode 4. Took extreme dedication to persevere. Also that repetitive soundtrack (copied from another series) had me on the verge of a seizure. A poor German attempt at Stranger Things, it started with an engaging premise but tailed off almost instantly.

Paradise PD does get a bit cleverer as it goes, the first episodes are nowhere near the strongest.

Probably not to everyone's taste though.

Fantastic news. I'll look forward to this. I still miss Escobar though but the series is managing just fine without him.

Email from Netflix today saying Atypical S2 is up.

An 18 year old autistic boy decides he needs a girlfriend - funny and touching (well, S1 was).

I actually rate Dark higher than Stranger Things - which I never thought I would say about any series after S1 of Stranger Things. Stranger Things is excellent (with the exception of S2, E7 - which almost derails the whole of S2), but I thought Dark was a masterpiece. That said, I find it much harder to recommend Dark than Stranger Things because of the heavy character focus, tight, claustrophobic plot, and making sense of all of the interwovern plot-lines.

Dark also features a semi-naked Franziska Doppler cloud9
