However I have gotten really into F is for Family..
Bill Burr (one of the creators/writers/voices) is quite a good stand-up, near the knuckle in the old style. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rksKvZoUCPQ

Wind River, I know it has been said but it’s bloody brilliant.

Took a while to get past seeing Hawkeye and Scarlet Witch though hehe
We really enjoyed this film. On paper it looks fairly boring or 'done before', but it was just done really well and I came out the other quite a different opinion.

Smashed through series 1 of Atypical and now onto series 2.

Series 1 is good. Had a couple of genuine laugh out loud moments.

Loved this, well worth catching taylor sheridan's other two films in this loose "Frontier" trilogy, Sicario and Hell or High Water.

Hell or high water is absolutely brilliant.

I've seen both of the Sicarios, the second one not being a patch on the first.

Totally understand that this won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but I watched ‘Reversing Roe’ last night. I knew abortion was a heavily politicised issue in the USA but I had no idea just how front and centre it is. Really mind boggling especially inlight of current Supreme Court hearings.

Watched whole series in one sitting. Pretty decent watch with some subtle references to Jonah Hill's movies

Glitch. Really really good. Proper top quality drama.

Australian drama which starts out with a police officer discovering some people who've crawled out of their graves in a country town cemetery. That's the same basic synopsis that Netflix gives and it goes nowhere close to selling the show.

Well filmed, rounded characters, tightly plotted and very subtly builds as it goes. Lots of details in the story to reward the observant, to the point it's worth watching twice to spot things you didn't appreciate the first time. Nothing is obvious and the story builds carefully with many threads that take time to unwind.

Two series so far, 6 hour long episodes in each. Lots of content so feels like more than that but it's never rushed. Third series filming now.

Cannot recommend it enough, a real hidden gem.

Just finished S2 of Iron First. Now I appreciate I may be amongst the minority here but I thought it was an improvement on S1, with a nice wee twist at the end setting up S3 (if they make it of course).

It's no Daredevil or The Punisher, it lacks the darker anti-hero element (IMHO) of those series or the damaged and troubled hero of Jessica Jones, but I think it holds up better than Luke Cage which makes me want to scream at the telly with the blind naivety of the lead role some times.

I'll be interested to see where they go next, I would love to see it take a direction more towards a darker theme like Daredevil but as I've never read the comics I don't know if that's an avenue that's open to the production team.

Closed Circuit.

Eric Bana and Rebecca Hall in a legal /court / spy thriller thing with an unusual ending (not a twist, for once...)

Unlocked.

Noomi Rapace in another London-based spy thriller. Really good for the details. Micheal Douglas and Toni Collette turn up too!

No novelty whatsoever, but just done really well...

I'm currently watching Designated Survivor, not normally a big fan of these types of programmes but I'm really enjoying this smile

Unless you’re already past that point, I foresee your enjoyment evaporating at about episode 5 wink
