I'm currently watching Designated Survivor, not normally a big fan of these types of programmes but I'm really enjoying this
Unless you’re already past that point, I foresee your enjoyment evaporating at about episode 5 anxious_ant said:

Really good and some interesting cars in it too
Watched whole series in one sitting. Pretty decent watch with some subtle references to Jonah Hill's moviesReally good and some interesting cars in it too
Whoever signed in before Annie when she was visiting Owen at the end was there to visit Wendy Lemuria - the name of the lemur in one of the dream sequnces. I only noticed that one but there would have been many more i'm sure

Closed Circuit.
Eric Bana and Rebecca Hall in a legal /court / spy thriller thing with an unusual ending (not a twist, for once...)
Didn't warm to this personally. It felt like it fizzled out about two thirds the way through and we guessed the ending.Eric Bana and Rebecca Hall in a legal /court / spy thriller thing with an unusual ending (not a twist, for once...)
Bana's British accent had a wierd Aussie twang at some points but not others which grated.

Glitch. Really really good. Proper top quality drama.
Australian drama which starts out with a police officer discovering some people who've crawled out of their graves in a country town cemetery. That's the same basic synopsis that Netflix gives and it goes nowhere close to selling the show.
Well filmed, rounded characters, tightly plotted and very subtly builds as it goes. Lots of details in the story to reward the observant, to the point it's worth watching twice to spot things you didn't appreciate the first time. Nothing is obvious and the story builds carefully with many threads that take time to unwind.
Two series so far, 6 hour long episodes in each. Lots of content so feels like more than that but it's never rushed. Third series filming now.
Cannot recommend it enough, a real hidden gem.

I watched series 1 & 2 ages ago. I really should watch them again.

On ep10 of the good cop now. Very good although a little censored. No swearing at all. That's hard to believe when talking about gritty NYPD cops.
And not one "sheeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiit....." From one particular protagonist....
I spent the whole of Jack Ryan repeatedly saying sheeeeiiiiitttt everytime Bunk made an appearance much to the annoyance of my wife And not one "sheeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiit....." From one particular protagonist....

Glad to hear they’re making a 3rd series. It’s an excellent drama. I don’t think I’ve seen anything else on TV that’s quite like it.
