Started watching Norsemen, bloody hell,! have been pissing myself at it.

Episode 1 and the stty finger in the slaves mouth had me in bits and set the standard lol. Well worth a watch.
Also started watching it on Friday, and loved it - even though I'd seen it was a comedy on here, it still wasn't what I expected. Really funny.

Hangman - so-so serial-killer thriller, no real surprises

Low score on IMDB so passed it over.

Just finished Ozark S1 - brilliant and brutal.

Don't mess with hill-billies!

Love the Coopers

Some turgid Christmas crap my wife stuck on at bedtime.

A great cast in a terrible film.

Don't.

El Marginal - Subtitled but a really good prison drama with a good story, good charachters and plenty of action without being ridiculous

Quite a few pages back, people were talking about Paradise PD so I decided to add it to my list.

This weekend I watched the first episode and the first ten minutes had me in fcensoredg tears of laughter. Christ almighty, I couldn't breathe.

I've done Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Ozark, Suits, House of Cards, Designated Survivor, Shooter and many more like it and currently getting into The Sinner... says a lot about me I guess.

But my current watch whilst working late is The Windsors... I'm only up to S1 E4, but so many chuckle moments.

I've just started watching Damnation. Premiered last year I think but I forgot about it. Really enjoying it.

Are there any detective type series' that take 2-3 hours/episodes to conclude each case? Similar to A Touch of Frost, Cracker, Rebus, Waking the Dead etc. A whole series on one crime seems a bit much, and an hour or so not enough.. although open to a long winded affair if particularly good. Sinner perhaps?

I've not been using Netflix for long, currently most of the way through Mindhunter, which I am quite enjoying and decided to give Luther a go which is alright but a bit quick to conclude.

Not sure if Line of Duty is on Netflix but that fits the bill

Bosch (Amazon admittedly)

True Detective (S1, S2 is st)

Manhunt Unabomber

If you want true crime Evil Genius, The Staircase and Making a Murderer are all worth a watch too

Just started watching the 1st episode and 5 minutes in see a guy waving a 9mm automatic gun which wasn't invented in the time the film is set in. But otherwise seems worth a watch.

Just on about episode 8 of Narcos Mexico. Can't say I've been overly impressed and have nodded off occasionally. Pity.

I might have a look at Line of Duty.

Unabomber is watchable, it's one long story but it moves at a reasonable pace. Cut from the same cloth as Mindhunter but without the finesse.

Unrelated but I've just finished the second series of Salvation. I think they ended it well, I'm sure there will be a third series but if they didn't for some reason I think it still stands up pretty well. Typical formulaic stuff but it held my interest. But I cannot for the life of me work out what accent Nicholas Tanz is supposed to have - I've heard him do Australian, American Midwest, Irish, British and shades of Russian. Any of those work for a villain; mixing them all however doesn't.

I set aside a weekend to binge it when it came out as I loved the first three seasons. I've been half way ep 5 for two weeks now and just can't be bothered to get back into it despite several attempts.

I thought he was all of those plus Sarf Afrikan biggrin
Which is really weird as John Noble is a great actor normally

..Thanks for the replies and recommendations for a detective series. Some I've watched or I'm aware of, others I will explore. Cheers.

Luther is brilliant. Not sure how long the cases are though.

They cancelled it two weeks ago, so no series three.
