We were going to watch this the other night as the trailers looked really good but so many disappointing reviews put us off in the end. We try not to follow reviews re what we do and don't watch but many of them were saying the same things about the problem with it.
Just watch it anyway, it's not that bad to be honest and is worth a punt if the telly is ste.
Yep- It's not that bad. Very slow, first hour. The scenes in the House (the find) is good smile

Watched the first episode of Collateral, a cop drama centred round the murder of a pizza delivery man in Sth London. Enjoying it so far, but there are a lot of story strands to link together in the next 3 episodes. It's a limited series so only 4 episodes total.

I see BBC series The Bodyguard has made it to the 'Flix.... worth a go?

I seem to remember everyone spaffing their pants about it when it came out on terrestrial telly, but I don't want Line of Duty round 2!!

Can anyone tell me if The OA gets any better? I've just watched Series 1 episode 1 and it's as dull as ditchwater. Please tell me it perks up.
Step. Away. From. The. OA.

Honestly I consider it a worse resolution than 'Lost'.
Me too. I loved the start of it, wondered where it was going in the middle, then had the WTAF ending. Very frustrated.
did it ever go anywhere and WTF is she?
Yes! Watch the second series!
Wait - what?! There’s a second season? getmecoat
We watched the first episode and were a bit underwhelmed by it, although to be fair I'm not sure we're the right demographic. It was a bit 'high school' But you can't really judge on one episode.
We are compelled to watch the second series because we 'cough' have an interest in it 'cough'

I'm far from 'high school' demographic and I really liked the first series. I keep recommending it to anyone that will listen.

I've now watched the first 4 episodes and it's got better.

I'd still not say that it's absolutely 'must watch TV' but it is intriguing now. The story has definitely taken a turn for the better now that Jason Isaacs character has appeared yes.

It's alright, but don't go in with expectations set too high because of the hype last year when it was broadcast. We watched it to the end, but I would've quit sooner but didn't because I was expecting it to pull some masterful stroke of surprise. It didn't.
Cliched story, plot holes you could drive a bus through if you were picky, and fk me I can't remember the last time I saw a serious tv show with so many glaringly obvious continuity errors.
It's Ok, but definitely overhyped.
If your viewing time is limited there's other tv shows out there more deserving of time.

it is very good, yes it isn't a factual program and i think if you aren't a pedant then it is enjoyable entertainment, definitely worth a watch.

It started well then disappeared up its own arse.
Was still reasonably entertaining up to the end though as long as you could ignore the really huge "FFS" moments.

JESUS! Don't stand 10 yards from him, he's wearing a ficking explosive ficking vest! Yes, 15 yards, that'll be fine, lets all twenty of us just chill out here while we have a chat. Oh, and bring his wife over nice and close as well."

Yep-it's very good. The plot gets a bit far fetched at the end but it's a very good show.

Edited to say, missed the above comments which echo mine hehe
