Two episodes into One Strange Rock narrated/hosted by Will Smith. Very good so far.

From the award-winning team of filmmaker Darren Aronofsky (`Black Swan') and producer Jane Root (`America the Story of Us'), this 10-part cinematic event series explores the fragility and wonder of planet Earth -- one of the most peculiar, unique places in the universe. Host Will Smith guides viewers on an unprecedented exploration, bolstered by an elite group of eight astronauts who provide unique perspectives and relate personal memoirs of the planet seen from a distance. Hourlong episodes delve into monumental events such as genesis, cosmic violence, human intelligence and alien life, oxygen, and survival vs. destruction.
Finished the series a few hours ago, breath taking viewing. Compared to Our Planet i actually found this more interesting and completely original

Watched The Silence last night.
Just don't even bother. A shocker. An extremely poor, knockoff of A Quiet Place. Even the delightful Stanley Tucci couldn't save this. Had every movie cliche you could think of for a film of this type

Santa Clarita Diet cancelled by Netflix mad
fk.
Right.
Off.
We still haven't seen the entire show (almost at the end of season 2). I'm trying to put a positive spin by saying that rather than being cancelled it just isn't being continued .... yeah, feels empty saying that.

Maybe it'll be picked up by Amazon, although that'd be a wind up. Absolutely loved the Expanse, which was marketed as a Netflix original, but obviously wasn't when it got cancelled and then picked up by Amazon - and the first two series that were on Netflix suddenly disappeared.

I'm not sure what is worse - a show being cancelled or a show being cancelled and then picked up by another streaming service that you don't have access to.

I started to watch Black Summer....2 Episodes in so far...it's ok, the acting is not that great, the car scenes in Ep.2 especially.

Will stick with it though as I like the genre
On episode 6 now - enjoying it, and there are some really tense moments, but you’ve got to wonder if any of the characters have ever seen a zombie movie before

Edit: I've watched all 8 episodes now, and on reflection, it was actually a bit st. Started off strong with a few good episodes, then really went downhill for the last 3 - Think this must have had a rather small budget, and it really shows. Shame, as I like a good zombie film/series, and this looked like it would be quite refreshing given the nature of the first few episodes, but am left feeling quite disappointed by it.

Given up on this after episode two. Its starts strong and intriguing, but then I realised there is no story line or any real character development. It like watching a computer game....

If you just like the action then it might still be good, but I got bored.
I'm sort of in the same boat, it started very well, but after watching 3 episodes now there's no real dialogue so it seems like they're stringing out the story. It has a 'found footage' feel to it, but it's not.

Jamie King, not the greatest actress in the world based on this either.

Kill Bill 1 and 2 are on Netflix at the moment.

I'm usually a big Tarantino fan but watching KB1 when it was new I hated it, gave up after half an hour and didn't bother with the 2nd.

Gave it another go at the weekend though and really liked it.

Maybe I'll give Grindhouse / Death Proof another go, I didn't like those either a few years ago.

Netflix original doesn't mean 'original' - they use it for any show they produce or have exclusive rights to in a territory.

Amazon is the same, if you watch The Expanse on there it is an 'Amazon Original' because they have exclusive streaming rights in the UK.

Churchill’s Secret Agents. I’ve just started watching this today, recreation in period style of S.O.E. selection and training.
I thought that sounded familiar, it was on the BBC about 12 months ago. I really enjoyed it.

Brawl in Cell Block 99. Savage, brutal and very violent. Vince Vaughn at his absolute best.

Great film by the same director as Bone Tomahawk, S. Craig Zahler. He has a new film out, also starring Vince Vaughn, Dragged Across Concrete. I haven't seen it yet, but according to Kermode's review, it's just as brutal.

Watched a few, likeable and witty. It's good 'filler' but I haven't found the need to binge like I have some series (Bonding and Rita being the most recent).

Surprised not more love for Lunatics, I thought it was brilliant but my sense of humour is slightly odd I think from others. Loved Cardinal Burns, Alan Partridge, Trigger happy etc

The real estate, come DJ chucking pavlova into the club was brilliant laugh

Dragged across concrete definitely worth watching

Bit slow to begin with but comes good. There are a couple of scenes that will definitely make you squirm

Loved that character, but it was the only one I warmed to really. Skipped most of the other bits.
Would be great if they did a spin-off just with him and his family/entourage!
