Anyone else watched Bonding yet? I’ve been watching it this morning and I think it’s brilliant! Some proper laugh out loud funny parts.
I liked it.
Wasn’t sure if it would be any good but I’ve just watched it all in one go, shame it was only short to be honest, it was great.

Secret City - the Australian political thriller.

Has a defence minister caught up in kerfuffle involving sending a warship to China, Chinese espionage and upsetting his cabinet colleagues.

Spooky similar to today’s headlines about Gavin Williamson.

Anyway, it’s very good.

I was mildly surprised that Australia has an actual capital city with offices and things, and not a didgeridoo in sight.

fk.
Right.
Off.
For fks sake. I’ve started season three this week and text my lad to ask if he’d seen it yet as some of the scenes were relevant/hilarious to us if late. He’s just told me they’re not filming a fourth series. Just why?

Loved that character, but it was the only one I warmed to really. Skipped most of the other bits.
Would be great if they did a spin-off just with him and his family/entourage!
Strikes me as possibly a pile of pish so I’ve previously avoided, but I’m not sure why. I’ll give it a watch though on thy recommendations biggrin

On to Jimmy Carr’s Greatest Hits which is an interesting concept. Comedy compilation.

I liked him, the Frothers and Keith Dick.
I liked all of them, with the exception of the tall girl.

Some laugh out loud moments.

Enjoyed Sicario 2 yesterday.

Fairly silly plot but well executed.

The Conjuring 2 - ghost story set in 1970’s London.

7 Mk3 Cortina Estates out of 10.

Spoiled by the slenderman that has nothing to do with the "real" story

It’s excellent, although quality takes a dip in the later seasons. “Beardsley McTurbanhead” makes me laugh every time.

Recently rewatched Archer. Definitely one of my favourite series. Second to IASIP only because of that distinct dip in quality in the last season. New series just out though.

Yeahh kind of agree, however I think you were being a tad harsh.

I asked a colleague yesterday if he'd seen it; "oh Yeahh it's amazing, I've watched it twice", so I watched it last night and at the end was like "wtf is that all about, it's just a bit odd", I shan't be watching it again.

One of those few films I've seen where I have genuinely no idea if I loved or hated it. Vince Vaughen went impressively against type and it's certainly not meant to be an enjoyable film, but really not sure what to take from it.

Anyway, I've finally gotten with the times and subscribed. Any good horror films or shows on there, ideally more psychological than loud noises?

The fighting in cellblock seemed like they were rehearsing it in slowtime. It was very odd

I used to have a really irritating French colleague named Benoit. Hence I absolutely love the Monte Carlo episode

Snowpiercer seems to have just appeared on the service - pretty sure it wasn't there a month or two ago when I was trying to find it.

Good film although obviously the scenario is somewhat fantastical.
