Late to the party as usual.

Santa Clarita Diet

I watched the first one a while ago and for some reason, didn't really click with it and wrote it off as not really my thing. Last night, I was browsing for something to watch and, remembering how many have raved about it on here, I started on episode 2.....then 3....then 4, then 5 & then 6!

I was wrong. Absolutely brilliant, and very much my thing. So many genuine laugh out loud moments! I can see me bingeing all 3 seasons this weekend thumbup
Shame it got cancelled, leaves the end of S3 so open and unfinished.

Really struggling for something to watch after rewatching TopBoy in anticipation of the new series.

But was surprised to see such and old 'classic' on there... has to be said 'so crap its actually excellent'.

Just finished second and final season of Luke Cage, a series i felt was decent but a minute slow throughout if you know what I mean. Last episode tied everything up well but conversely had a hurried feel, perhaps due to the series cancellation?

The Ruthless

Reasonably new on Netflix... I clicked thinking it was a series... turned out to be a very reasonable little Italian, small time gangster drama...
Watch if only for the utterly delectable Marie-Ange Casta... some nice cars also...

Netflix film Bright with Will is really good!

It's a mix of Lethal Weapon, Underworld, Warriors and the 5th Element.

The Tes Bundy movie starring Zac Effron that has a bizarre title was much better than expected - I just wish I hadn't watched a documentary about him a few months previously as I already knew the ending laugh

Kingdom - zombie series set in feudal Korea. Suitably tense and creepy, with the unique setting making it feel fresh. You absolutely need to watch it in its native language with subtitles though, otherwise the kung-fu dubbing ruins it.
Great series and completely original, glad to see there will be a 2nd series
This is great, current series ends a bit abruptly. Looking forward to the 2nd.

Ah, I see it was a C4 / Netflix joint venture so you will have got it on C4 or whatever in the UK.

Didn't know this was out. Will have to check it out!

I watched the Ted Bundy tapes a few months back on Netflix too. Wasn't really familiar with the story before, had just heard his name.

Anthony Jelesnik’s comedy special - fire in the maternity ward.

Very very dark.

Very very funny!

No one who is easily offended should watch this.
Tried this and couldn’t get on with it. He’s just trying to be dark without being particularly funny. So much so the punchlines are kinda predictable.

Street Food

Just watched the Bangkok one, absolutely loved it!

Not a food show you've seen before, more a human interest doc, I admit to welling up at the end.

Some amazing people out there!
