The Siege of Jacobville , fresh company of Irish UN peacekeepers sent into early 60's Congo then hung out to dry by by politicians . 7/10
Yes it is fairly decent. I thought perhaps they had exaggerated the fighting but looking on Wikipedia it seems fairly accurate (if you can trust Wikipedia of course)ElectricSoup said:
The Crown. I haven't watched any of it. I have been avoiding it as I fear it may be a grovelling, sickening fawn-fest. Am I right or a meringue? I am a dyed in the wool republican - should I get over myself and watch it? Is it what I fear it to be?
It's not what you fear. Sympathetic towards the individuals up to a point, but certainly not grovelling towards the institution.Dr Jekyll said:

I reckon anyone watching The Crown will come away with their viewpoint confirmed, whether republican or monarchist. Its shows both the absurdity of the whole set up and the strength of character it takes to survive within it. It is a drama so not completely accurate but appears to give a realistic view of the Royal family, the institution and the period without being a puff piece or hatchet job. Also just finished series 3 of The Crown. It was excellent, I thought.
Does get quite personal in the later episodes.
I felt a big portion of it was directed to why Charles will not be a very good King. Or maybe I was reading into that too much.
Olivia Coleman & Helena Bonham-Carter are both excellent and the guys that play Philip and Charles have the accent and mannerisms spot on.

In a similar but different vein, try Samurai Gourmet or Kantaro the Sweet Tooth Salaryman.

I doubt the royals would be all that happy with how they’re portrayed in the crown tbh. It might not be anti enough for you but it’s certainly not a fawn fest.
I think it’s one of the best series on Netflix myself.

Hence my earlier comments on how they will portray Andrew in later series!
