Great to see Pesci and De Neroyes
I bailed out fairly early on, you're probably in the minority of people that stuck with it til the end though laugh Biggest film let down for me for as long as I can remember.

More of a let down than Prometheus?

Three into the movies that made us. Like, better resourced making of Dvd extras. But some good insights and fewer egos. I am enjoying them.

Appeals perfectly to my sense of humour. smile
I've watched it several times now, I know the story doesn't really allow for another series but it's a shame it ended after just 3.

I've got these on my 'to watch' list (much to Mrs Iroc's chagrin)

I signed up last night.

I thought that it was the respository for all films not in current circulation, so I am going to be very disappointed. I was expecting a Blockbuster for films more than 1-year old - it isn’t that.

Is there a subscription service that fulfils that kind of role?

Watched it last night and thought it was terrible. Only thing that raised a slight chuckle was the running joke about them looking like UPS drivers.

We enjoyed it. It was pretty slow but dark, gritty and bleak with no winners in the game that they played. It showed these emotionally dead fks for what they really are. It takes a certain mindset, just not a 'Goodfellas' or 'Lock Stock' mindset.

That was the only thing you found funny in that whole movie?, the crappiest joke in it ?

Just goes to show eh?.

That comedy is subjective and everyone doesn't like the same stuff?

Good shout, enjoying this.

A welcome change from watching Peep Show & The Thick of It over & over.

Chips is great, motorbikes & Michael Pena is very funny.

They could have dropped an hour at least! I didn’t get some of the CGI either, why make Fat Tony old with make up, why not just use an old actor?

Well I quite enjoyed The Irishman. Watched it over 2 days though. It wasn't edge of your seat stuff but a good storyline with fantastic actors. I must admit I think De Niro is a better actor than Pacino.

I watched I Am Mother last night too, really enjoyed it. Very good if you're into that type of thing
Rather good I thought, especially as Netflix's track record for sci-fi originals isn't brilliant.

Very much in the vein of Moon/Ex Machina, thinking man's sci-fi. Solid 8/10 from me.
Watched it as well yesterday strangly enough, the ending was left to the imagination.
A solid +ive vote for 'I Am Mother'. Quite subtle/ambiguous (to begin with) in a way that many modern sci-fi efforts fail to attempt, much less achieve. The subtlety rather more geared towards the 'philosophy' than the outright plot, but nonetheless effective in it's own way. A creditable 5 Blade Runner's out of 7 Ex Machina's

My Netflix subscription has come to an end mainly due to me not paying for it but living with someone who did. I'm wandering now if I subscribe myself or go elsewhere but not sure what alternatives are available?

Those of you who think The Irishman is too long, try a bloody school Christmas Concert which lasted almost 3 HOURS. Towards the end they even started apologising for it - "I know we've had 'We Three Kings' several times already, but this John Coltrane/Miles Davis interpretation is really rather special..."

I thought Disney+ was not yet available in the UK?

Don't forget Amazon Prime.
