THE STRANGER
Worth a watch if you are bored but a 7/10 for me - OK, not great.
I suspect it works a lot better as a book.
Really enjoying this. Starts with a mysteriously decapitated Alpaca and then gets weirder. Worth a watch if you are bored but a 7/10 for me - OK, not great.

Use the f****** spoiler reveal or don't post spoilers!

Watched [The Stranger] over the last week or so.. Nicely done I thought, lots of twists and turns I'm still thinking about.
I thought the sets and locations were good. England looked very pleasant despite the undercurrent of what was going on.
Through a little research it was filmed in Stockport, the school was further north... Bolton School. I don't think I've ever seen that part of the world so sunny.
We enjoyed it too, there were quite a few moments throughout the series, a couple of bits that weren't explained very well (ie. the big spoiler above about Jennifer Saunders being killed, no idea why he did that?) that I guess are explained more in the book?I thought the sets and locations were good. Something that wasn't in the book was the teenagers having a party and one being found naked, it did feel odd to us that it was just something that was a complete coincidence, almost a red herring which is never appreciated in a whodunnit!
We're also getting through the third series of Sabrina, it's still good but it's going the same way as a lot of the shows that start light and bubbly but then get really serious which just isn't why we started watching the show. It's also starting to go a bit Star Trek where they fix problems by remodulating the shield harmonics to a resonate frequency, or in Sabrina speak that's digging up some stones around the coven that hadn't been mentioned before to boost their powers in order to send a signal.

Anyone watched Ragnarok, the Norwegian series?
Me, right now. 7/10 so farI thought it was a very subtle start to the Thor story and 6 episodes left me wanting more.
Just watched The Bill Murray Stories and really enjoyed it. You'll need to VPN to the States to watch it though.
"This documentary highlights spontaneous encounters with the elusive, comedic veteran, who touches lives by simply showing up anywhere."
He really is a man who is living in the moment and seems to realise that even a small strange interaction with him can brighten peoples day.

Just binged Series 2 of Sex Education and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Some proper laugh out loud moments, and some which are a bit gross.
I really like the ambiguity of the year (helped by the myriad of older cars they use), plus the locations provide for some stunning backdrops.
Good to hear there's going to be a third series.
