When will Brody take that bloody toothpick out of his mouth? It's the most clichéd gangster performance I've ever seen.

I know exactly what you mean. Loads of super tough heavily armed men just stop and listen as soon as
Hardy starts talking and its so “real”. His performance
In this is mesmerising
Loving the series so far, as with all previous, and I think it even ramped up a notch when Hardy reappeared!

He is brilliant in every thing I've seen of his!

I started watching the first series last year but gave up, bored with the non-existent plot, wooden acting and poor sets. People are talking positively about this series quite widely now - should I have stuck with it?

No, it’s brilliant from the off so maybe it’s just not your taste

Excellent again tonight and a welcome return for Hardy’s Jewish sarcastic thug

Did anybody spot the reference to Jamie Vardy on the bookmakers board "Vardy's Party - 5000/1"?

I must admit I missed it smile

I've thought he's been excellent in everything I've seen him in too,
but this was the first time I thought his performance was unconvincing.

Think we'll have to agree to disagree. Bringing the character back and playing it exactly as before, a sarcastic Jewish Thug, without being overly 'thuggish' works for me. Just adds to the series. Only 2 more to go this series though!

Forme, it definitely improved this week with the appearance of T Hardy. He has a presence on the screen.

Couple of days viewing behind you guys . That monologue from Hardy in the distillery was superb , still surprised half of that was allowed thanks to the offended PC brigade , great stuff , and what an entrance to the series .

All the previous series are being shown in the early hours (1am) on BBC4 and will appear on IPlayer shortly after.

Anyone know when series 1-3 will be available to download on I-player ?. Only on ITunes at present.
netflix if that helps
There's only season 1 and 2 on Netflix, season 3 was on iPlayer however the first 3 episodes have just expired
I know it's poor form to quote yourself, however season 3 is now also on Netflix as I assume it's almost expired on iPlayer now

I'm still loving this but really struggling with Brody's performance, its ruining scenes for me, not helped by

the fact he really looks like Alistair MacGowan, so with the haminess, I now cannot see anything but McGowan doing an impression of a Mafiosa

Dont click that spoiler if you dont want an image in your head you can't lose and may ruin any further scenes

I really so want to enjoy this but am massively struggling to understand what's being said by most of the key characters. This could be the first English-language programme I'll watch with the subtitles on. At the moment am relying on Mrs B for translations.

The start of EP5 really threw me -I thought I had missed an episode it started so quickly

Tom Hardy was sublime again, really would love a spin off with him.

Extra marks for having a Lewis gun stashed, and for the bit with TH toting up the bill.
