Just seen episode 2 of this, I'm rather enjoying it Got a good creepy vibe to it and sets the foundations for the man who became Psycho, his mother is being played suitably weird without being over the top.

We watched a family film the other week and the kid in it was Norman Bates. I kept waiting for him to shreik "Mother"!

I'm enjoying this series though. I think it's good in it's own right, the links back to the film are just an added interest.
I'm also quite keen on his school teacher...

Terrific end to a great first series, Vera "Norma" Farmiga must get an award for this. Brilliantly deranged multiple personality disorder.

Great finish to this series, the gradual turn into his mother has been very well done.

I do feel it should be left now though. The only interesting bit is Norman, and that is sort of done really.

I've now downloaded it twice on my strong connection. THe first time is disappeared after a week.
I have the other eps screened on box. I was wondering if it got exciting. It sot of tailed off last series and it became a thing I watched over the laptop. I have this weird urge to keep watching though, because I've watched the first fking 30 hours....ergh, investment OCD>

Yes, I watch it. Episode 4 was on this week. I'm enjoying it.
It's slowly dawning on Norman what's going on.
