Yes, not sure whether I should be proud or ashamed - the post he read out about spending a few days looking through the Guinness Book of Hit Singles was, er, me. But I didn't mean solid days, honest.

I was (as I suspect many would be) shocked that he's not seen more than one Star Wars movie and doesn't like sci-fi etc

smile So how many Londonists went to the Innocent office this morning for a drink and a bit of table tennis?

Meal Deals, I never have a good time trying to get one. I go to the Meal Deal counter, pick a pack of sandwiches, drink and crisps, go to the till...

Them: "That's £5.19 please"
Me: "But those three are a Meal Deal, it's £3"
Them: "Sorry, that drink isn't on Meal Deal, you can get another one that is"
Me: "But it was on the Meal Deal drink shelf"
Them: "No, it's not in the offer"
Me grumbling to myself: "Grr, harrumph, it was on the bloody shelf and it said Meal Deal on the shelf..."
Them: "Ermmm... SHARON!, can you get a Meal Deal drink please?!"

Sharon goes to get a different bottle, I stand there for however long it takes. Sharon brings a different bottle, I pay and leave, still grumbling.

This usually happens in Tesco.

Series Five is off and running, they recorded EP's one and two last night in the Tabernacle, W11. Drove/tubed it up from Bristol to watch it...

Very, very, very funny indeed. Warm up guy, Clint Edwards, was top notch but DG brought the house down. They recorded two shows last night; there's another two in September and two more in November so I guess they'll hit the screens of Dave early in the New Year.

Great work, a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Strange this, they aren't going out in the order they were recorded (I don't think!).

We watched the first two EP's being recorded in July but tonight's was a different one again and next week's doesn't seem familiar either.

The "Neal Sean" episode from Season 2 was on repeat recently, one that I missed first time around, and it made last night's episode all the better for me having it fresh in my mind.

Thanks for the Heads Up. Just caught the first episode.

Love it, he deserves a much bigger audience. Very clever and witty as always.

Would hate to be the target of one of his episodes. Brilliant piss taking.

On Dave. First one is repeated tomorrow at 8pm. New ones are Tuesday at 10pm.

Or the UKTV catch-up player online.
