I see no point in sending the other 2 any further. They are simply not up to standard.

Think she wants to shout get the hell out of my kitchen with lots of sharing! Some of those dishes were just wrong for head or near top chefs! Wierd faces is what left for her to do!

Edit just to to Monica for the cheese smoked with peppermint! Hehe! Just wrong.

Aye, her teeth are terrible. I'd find them offputting during the tasting session!

That tagine looked nice though.

That lass had teeth like a burnt-down fence, and was a horrendous chef to boot. Matt was lucky to avoid the axe, no way he'll survive the next round, he is st too. "Make a sauce-filled choux pastery" - presents a pizza slice.

These competitors are not usually head/near top chefs, they just work in the industry and enter the competition. The woman last night was a self-taught junior chef for example. It does make you wonder how some of them get through to the televised stages and the quality of those who don't yikes

Matt got through by being lucky he wasn't the worst in his group hehe

Is the cynical reason that by having a few cocky "I think I can go far, hopefully win, open my own place get a star or 2" knobbers who can barely burn toast then it makes for good reality TV and much gurning and put downs from Monica and Michel???

yes Not cynical, just realistic. IMO the show improves once the dross has been dropped.

Wonder where the lass from Chesterfield works. Might be an idea to avoid desserts wherever it is. Or mains for that matter.

The big guy did pretty well I thought.

I would leave if I saw her standing opposite me ready to serve me a plate of food.

The only thing she should be stirring a spoon in is a cauldron.
