Charming fellas.
Still - Meathead Gym, 'Respect', 'Gangsters' and all that, it's the same tired old cliché, and usually includes a heavy dose of drug fuelled fantasy.
Why am I not surprised it didn't take long for a bit of manlove to come into it.

Was this on telly?
I have a passive interest in such shows, Danny Dyer's Biggest Knobs etc, they can be either scary or silly.
Thought I would watch the first few mins, see what type of idiots are in it, and it's my town! And I know that gym! And recognise some of those faces! Blimey! Scary stuff!
Glad I go to David Lloyd now.
Have to say, some idiots in that show, but I felt sorry for the lad who had been abused, and also felt a tad (only a tad) sorry for the main one towards the end. He surrounds himself with knobheads.
I googled the gym...nice...

Smith, who began his sentence at open prison HMP Kirkham, appealed against his sentence last June, but was turned down by a London criminal appeal court judge.
The court heard Smith claimed he armed himself with a handgun to protect himself from gangland rivals.
Smith, admitted possessing a prohibited firearm and ammunition. He was arrested in Concert Square, Liverpool city centre, on October 28 2006.
A search was carried out at his home and bullets were found.
A revolver, which had been wrapped in a T-shirt and placed inside a bin bag, was also discovered.
The court heard the bullets could not be fired from the gun as the weapon could only discharge air gun pellets.
Smith told police he had bought the gun for £1,000 and kept the weapon for his own protection after a threat to his life.
So, five years for a firearm that turned out to be an airgun which he paid £1000 for?The court heard Smith claimed he armed himself with a handgun to protect himself from gangland rivals.

It's the Muscle House Gym on Bewsey Road. I doubt I would ever go back to that sot of back street gym, unless it was super close.Where abouts is the gym, Can't say I can work out where it is - Not that I'm going to pop along for a look around!

Walter's was my first gym, went there for years! Knew him and his family. Switched to Total Fitness and been to a few here and there. Pure Gym is my current home. Not tried the new Orford place yet though.(says me, poncing it up in DW sports...)

I'm sure its alright inside (and I still see the old willys jeep in the carpark), it just looks like the sort of place where people go to shout and throw tyres around I don't really class myself as a Warringtonian...as they are mostly chav knobheads.
Agreed on the chav front though (Don't know if you remember the Gary Newlove thing a few years back, that was outside my old house, which was interesting as mum was trying to sell it at the time...), but trying to explain to non locals that I live in paddington just makes them think of A) A marmalade loving bear or B) london, so warringtonian it is
